Anima-October Sad News (SPPC1416-Barry)!

SPPC1416-Barry (M), around three months old at that time, was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before.
Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed.
He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection at that time.
On 4th April 2017 he was found with a swollen eye, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration.
He has no socket in his joints and shoulder and as so he had difficulty in walking.
He also had a poor bone growing in his front leg.
He has been taking pain killer for a very long time and he entered in suffer.
After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision!
R.I.P. my friend!
