Anima-September Sad News (706-Tommy)!

Our dog 706-Tommy, a senior dog of our shelter, has passed away today.
706-Tommy was sent to a clinic after being found lying on the ground breathing hard and panting.
He had low body temperature, was dehydrated and kidney exam values were very high (SDMA).
Tommy was put under IV fluid and had painkillers.
Despite all medical efforts, he passed way.
According to the vets, his cause of death was due to a head stroke coming from his chronic heart problem and in an advanced age there was nothing that could be done at right on that moment.
We will miss him and all the love he gave to us during his lifetime.
R.I.P. our old friend!
