Anima–September Sad News (SPP2240-Ah Wong)!

SPP2240-Ah Wong (M), around 13 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020.
He was under Mr. O’s responsibility in Templo de A-Ma (Barra). Anima was informed by Mr. O that SPP2240- Ah Wong was weak, lethargic, and not eating at all.
SPP2240-Ah Wong was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation.
Blood test results indicated that he has amenia.
X-Ray Examination and Ultrasound results were normal.
He was tested positive for Canine Ehrlichia (Tick Fever). According to the vet, he might also suffer from an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) as he was unable to stand or walk.
SPP2240-Ah Wong was hospitalized in the clinic for treatment.
Unfortunately, and despite all medical efforts, he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM.
