Anima-September Return (SPPC2385-Blacky II)!

<08-08-2020> SPPC2385-Blacky II (M), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s responsibility at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Ms. Carla reported that there was a grey male cat who seems to be in pain from all the bites of flees and parasites in his fur at her workplace. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2385-Blacky II, another very skinny male and he was directly brought to a clinic. After consultation, SPPC2385-Blacky II was dewormed, defleaed and desexed. Anima-New SPP cat (SPPC2385-Blacky II)!

Anima-September Sad News (C2135-Icarus)!

<07-09-2020> C2135-Icarus (M), around one year old by the time, was rescued on the 12th June 2019 from the kennel due to lack of space and he was welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise! In August, Icarus was getting skinny and anemic with dry discharge on his face. Blood test results showed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and medication was prescribed. Recently, C2135-Icarus was sent to a clinic where they suspect that he had Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). He came back to our Cats’ Paradise and started the treatment with medication. However, C1754- Icarus started to be lethargic, lost appetite and having difficulty breathing today. He was sent to the clinic again for closely observation, but Anima was informed, later that C1754- Icarus passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-September Sad News (C1754-Fairfax)!

<02-09-2020> C1751-Faas (M), C1752-Faddy (M), C1753-Fabienne (F), C1754-Fairfax (M), C1755-Farah (F), C1756-Fedora (F), C1757-Feri (M), C1758-Femke (F) and C1759-Feray (F), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Since 2019, Fairfax has medical history of kidney problems, being anemic and having severe infections sometimes. For long time, he has been under subcutaneous fluids and supplements or medication. <02-09-2020> C2335-Feifei was adopted by Ms. U, today! C2335-Feifei (M), around two years old, was rescued by ANIMA on 11th May 2020, after a call two days before from Mr. Mak, the management of Nam Van Peninsula Carpark, reporting that a ginger cat entered in their carpark and has been living there for a few days. However, they always use rat traps and rat poison, it was not a safe place for a cat living in. Rescue team set a cat trap there and he was caught. Anima-September Rescue (C2380-Sonya)!

<01-09-2020> C2380-Sonya (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st September 2020, after a call from Ms. Wu referring that she saw an old lady rescuing a very weak kitten on R. Seis do Bairro Iao Hon. The lady has been feeding the cats in that area. The kitten was immediately sent to a clinic. She was very weak, extremely skinny, all wet and dirty. Anima-August Sad News (359-Titan)!

<28-08-2020> 359-Titan (M) is one of Anima’s old dogs in our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, 359-Titan's hindlegs were a bit swollen, refused to eat and later he had difficulty breathing. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Medical exams’ results revealed that 359-Titan had a pericardial effusion. According to the vet, he has a heart tumor and there is no cure for it. After, consultation and medical prescription he returned to our Dogs’ Shelter to start the treatment. Today, 359-Titan passed away in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
