Anima-August Return (SPP2297-Kimber)!

<10-08-2020> SPP2297-Kimber (F), around 10 months old, has been under our SPP program since the 21st July 2020, under Ms. Wong’s responsibility. Today, she was sent to a clinic for a spay surgery. Anima-August Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<07-08-2020> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, under Mr. Alex’s responsibility. On 25th July 2020, Mr. Alex reported that Farley was limping on its right hind leg. Medication was prescribed, but he was not getting better. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic. X-ray showed right hip joint have luxation and also right stifle joint suspected to have osteoarthritis, maybe caused by an old fracture. He might have pain occasionally due to osteoarthritis. According to the vet, he will never have a fully recover from a surgery. SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thanks, Mr. Alex! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Sad News (234-Dalton)!

<06-08-2020> 234-Dalton was both one of our friendliest and oldest dogs in our shelter. On 21st July 2020, Dalton’s abdomen was swollen (ascites), full of fluid inside. Dalton was sent to an outside clinic for consultation. Fluid was extracted and it was suspected that he has a liver tumor. Blood test results showed also, anemia and kidney failure. According to the vet, Dalton was suffering to much already. Today, 234-Dalton passed away in Anima. R.I.P., my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (C1710-Frisco)!

<05-08-2020> C1710-Frisco (M), around three months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 12th September 2017. On 30th July 2020, C1710-Frisco got worst from a gingivitis and made a blood test which the results showed a small infection. Also, he had a slightly anemia. Frisco was sent to an outside clinic for further examination. During days of the treatment in the clinic, he started to have difficulty in breathing and got lethargic. Blood test results showed severe anemic and Kidney failure. According to vet, even though with medicine or a treatment, his kidneys would never be recovered and he was suffering to much already. After discuss with the vet, and approved by tow Anima board members, he was euthanized today in no pain conditions. Anima-August Return (SPP2279-Nancy)!

<04-08-2020> SPP2276-Moana (F), SPP2277-Eeyore (M), SPP2278-Fancy (F), all around three years old, with their two puppies, SPP2279-Nancy (F) and SPP2280-Clancy (F), both around three months old by the time they were rescued, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 25th May 2020. Today, SPP2279-Nancy was spayed in a clinic and Anima supported it. Nancy returned back today to Ka Ho Work Shop and she is still under Mr. Ip’s responsibility. Thanks, Mr. Ip! Anima–August Rescue (C2373-Cullen)!

<03-08-2020> C2373-Cullen (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2020, after Ms. Bing brought the kitten to our Cats’ Paradise. She asked us to help. The kitten, Cullen, was collected by our rescue team, clinically observed and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. C2373-Cullen is now temporarily fostered by our staff member Mandy, to be fed with milk. Anima-August Sad News (464-Hera)!

<03-08-2020> 464-Hera (F), around eight years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 19th march 2009. Recently, 464-Hera was having trouble with an abnormal breathing and vomiting. Anima–July Adoption (C2369, C2370)!

<31-07-2020> Hercules and Hulk were adopted by Ms. Man, today! C2369-Hercules (M) and C2370-Hulk (M), both three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 7th July 2020, after a referral case from Masdaw reporting that two kittens were found caged at Hac Sa Beach near Fernando’s Restaurant. Anima reported to I.A.M immediately. They were previously rescued by I.A.M on 25th July 2020, but later both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Hercules and Hulk were adopted by Ms. Man, today!
