Anima–May Rescue (C2346-Darwin)!

<21-05-2020> C2346-Darwin (M), around 2 years old, was rescued by Anima on 21st May 2020, after receive a Facebook message from Ms. Chau reporting that a cat with a collar had entered in their patio since last night in Macau Design Centre, Travessa da Fábrica. She asked us help. They could keep the cat temporarily until an owner claim him back (as the cat has collar). However, he was collected by Anima as he was very skinny and scared. C2346-Darwin is now in quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima posted messages on-line to find his family. Thanks, Ms. Chau! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (SPPC2345-Chico)!

<21-05-2020> SPPC2345-Chico (M), around nine years and five months old, became part of our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s Responsibility on 21st May 2020. He was caught today by Ms. Carla as she was trying to catch the mother cat from the kittens SPPC2341-Calie, SPPC2342-Calvin, SPPC2343-Colleen and SPPC2344-Cyris. Chico was sent to a clinic to be neutered, today. He stays in clinic for few days after the surgery and will be released later, back to his family. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (B149-Lulu)!

<21-05-2020> B149-Lulu, was rescued by Anima on the 21st May 2020, after Mr. Peter, our SPP responsible at Jockey Club, brought a young egret B149-Lulu to our Dogs’ Shelter. Mr. Peter said the egret has been walking in the middle of the racecourse since yesterday and couldn’t fly. The egret Lulu was sent to a clinic for treatment where she will stay until recover. Anima–May Rescue (C2275-Seaweed)!

<21-05-2020> Seaweed was adopted by Mr. Man, today! C2275-Seaweed (M), around three months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 13th January 2020, after a call from Departamento de Trânsito regarding an injured kitten found dodging traffic on Sai Van Bridge. Seaweed was immediately sent to a clinic. He had his pelvis fractured, but recovered and he has been with us until now. Seaweed was adopted by Mr. Man, today! Thanks, Mr. Man! New cats SPP (SPPC2341, SPPC2342, SPPC2343, SPPC2344)!

<20-05-2020> SPPC2341-Calie (F), SPPC2342-Calvin (M), SPPC2343-Colleen (F) and SPPC2344-Cyris (M), all around one and a half months old, they are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 20th May 2020. The four kittens were rescued by Anima today, after receive messages from Ms. Carla reporting that in her work place, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, there is a family of a mother cat with four kittens. Ms. Carla notice that one kitten had an eye blowing out of his face while the other kittens had severe eye problem may be due to herpesvirus. Anima borrow two cat traps and Ms. Carla manage to capture all kittens. They were sent to a clinic for consultation. SPPC2341-Calie as severe infection and need to have surgery to remove the eye. SPPC2342-Calvin, SPPC2343-Colleen and SPPC2344-Cyris are in better shape but also need treatment and medical care. They all stay in the clinic today. Thanks, Ms....

<19-05-2020> Nugget was adopted by Ms. Rosário, today! 2221-Brandy (F), 2222-Cocoa (F), 2223-Cinnamon (F), 2224-Mocha (F), 2225-Nugget (M), all around one and a half month old and 2226-Peanut (M) near two months old, were rescued by ANIMA from Macau Kennel (I.A.M) in the 24th January 2020. Anima–May Rescue (SPP2241-Ah Mui)!

<19-05-2020> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020. She was rescued by Anima on 19th May 2020, after a call from Mr. O reporting that SPP2141-Ah Mui is coughing repeatedly, throwing up white foam and constantly making weird noises. Ah Mui was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, she might have Canine Chronic Bronchitis. SPP2241-Ah Mui was returned to Templo de A-Ma (Barra) after consultation and medication prescribed. Thanks, Mr. O! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (C2339-Bennie)!

<18-05-2020> C2339-Bennie (M), around 3 years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th May 2020, after receive a call from Mr. Lam reporting that he heard a bang near an alley on Rua do Padre João Clímaco. After the sound, he saw a black and white cat lying there, uncapable of moving by himself. Due to the heavy rain, Mr. Lam moved the cat to the shop nearby. C2339-Bennie had a small wound on right front arm. Apparently, he looks fine, but started to pant halfway and was sent to Macau Kennel for consultation. X-ray result showed that his pubic bone was broken and according with the vet, it may not be fixed with a surgery. Anima posted messages on Facebook to find the owner. Anima–May Rescue (2275-Lucky III)!

<18-05-2020> 2275-Lucky III (M), around 2 years old, was rescued by Anima from Macau Kenel on 18th May 2020, after received a call on 28th April 2020 from Mr. Varlei reporting that a male Belgian Malinois was found at Saída do Trilho do Nordeste de Coloane and he was very skinny. Rescue team went to the site but couldn’t catch him as he run away scared. I.A.M. was informed for assist rescue team. 2275-Lucky III was caught by I.A.M on 2nd May and staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine since then.
