Anima–May Foster Family (2257-Pitt)!

<02-05-2020> 2257-Pitt (M), around 3 months old, was rescued by Anima on the 16th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy had been injured from dog fight in Coloane-Ka Ho near Escola de São José de Ka-Ho. The puppy, 2257-Pitt, belongs to a litter of 9 puppies and Ms. Peng found out that he has a very big wound with worms on the back of his neck. He was immediately sent to a clinic for treatment. According to the vet, 2257-Pitt was severely anemic, need to put him under IV fluids and might need a blood transfusion. He was hospitalized for two weeks. 2257-Pitt was temporary fostered today by Ms. Elisa! Thanks, Ms. Elisa! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue and Return (SPP2241-Ah Mui)!

<02-05-2020> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020, was rescued by Anima on 9th April 2020, after a call from Mr. O referring that SPP2241-Ah Mui had an eye problem. After diagnosis, it was suspected that SPP2241-Ah Mui had Blepharitis on the left eye and also Fungal Infection (Skin Problem) on the tail. She was sent to a Clinic for further examination as there was not improvement. Medical exams showed that Ah Mui’s right eye had swelling cornea and suspect her left eye had a cataract. Today, Ah Mui went to a clinic after treatment and she is better according to vet. SPP2241-Ah Mui was returned to A-Ma Temple (Barra) after consultation. Thanks, Mr. O! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (C2331-Quest)!

<01-05-2020> C2331-Quest (F), around 1 year old, was rescued by Anima on the 1st May 2020, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that in her residential building EDF. Wa Mau San Chun private garage in Av. Leste do Hipódromo, there was an injured cat. She asked us help. Our rescue team set up a cat trap and Ms. Leong informed us that the cat went inside. <30-04-2020> Pulgas was adopted by Ms. Suna, today! C2225-Pulgas (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima in the 1st November 2019, after a Facebook message from her owner claiming that she had a son and neither of his cats is compatible with his baby son. Anima–April Sad News (C2096-King)!

<30-04-2020> C2096-King (M), around nine years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 8th March 2019, after a call from her owner saying that she will need to go to an elderly care home and they will not allow her to bring King. Recently, he was very weak, lethargic and he was sent to a clinic. C2096-King was suffering already with abdominal fluid and URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), according to the vet. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (H024-Biscuit)!

<29-04-2020> H024-Biscuit (M) and H025-Bibbles (F), both around four months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that there were two hamsters being abandoned in the street of Rua Central da Toi San. He asked us for help. H024-Biscuit and H025-Bibbles were collected by us and stayed in our shelter until now. Biscuit passed away in Anima today due to old age. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Sad News (C2244-Kole)!

<29-04-2020> C2244-Kole (M), around one and a half years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 29th November 2019, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he found a cat and her babies living in the air vent of a parking garage. Mr. Leong managed to catch another male cat instead the mother. C2244-Kole has been with us until now. On 26th April 2020, Kole had a lot of nasal discharge, vomited blood and breathing hard. He was sent to a clinic and tested positive for feline corona virus, developed into Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). C2244-Kole passed away today in our Cats’ Paradise. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Sad News (C1358-Taz)!

<29-04-2020> C1358-Taz (F), around two years old, along with 13 other cats, were rescued by Anima on 15th December 2016, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated in IAM. C1358-Taz has been in Anima and she was found skinny and lethargic with nasal and ocular discharge two days ago. Blood test results showed very high infections and kidney problems. C1358-Taz passed away today in our Cats’ Paradise! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <29-04-2020> Blythe was adopted by Ms. Figueiredo, today! SPP2146-Barbie (F), around 3 years old, mother dog of SPP2148-Banko (M), around 1.5 years old, together are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 6th August, 2019. SPP2148-Banko and SPP2146-Barbie with her new 4 puppies, 2266-Bryson (M), 2267-Blythe (F), 2268-Blair (F) and 2269-Barbara (F), all around 3 months old, were caught by IAM on 5th April 2020.
