Anima–Rescue and Sad News (SPP2228; SPP2219; SPP2218)!

<22-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2219-Julien and SPP2228-Judia, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited the food he ate which was dog dry food plus some rice. SPP2218-Juliana, another sibling, was found dead this morning. It was suspected that Juliana could have parvovirus due to the sudden death. Julien was tested for parvovirus and results showed positive. All the puppies were vaccinated before. SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien stay under treatment and separated from other dogs now. Anima–April Rescue (C2321-Wallie)!

<21-04-2020> C2321-Wallie (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on the 21st April 2020, after a call from Ms. Mak reporting that she found a sick kitten at the motorcycle parking on waterfront in Fai Chi Kei and her friend Mr. Yin was currently keeping him but not for a long period. She asked us help. The kitten was picked up by our rescue team and consulted in Anima. C2321-Wallie stay under treatment in our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks, Ms. Mak! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (2262-Penley)!

<21-04-2020> 8 Puppies, 2258-Paige (M), 2259-Pax (M), 2260-Presley (M), 2261-Piers (M), 2262-Penley (M), 2263-Panya (F), 2264-Paza (F) and 2265-Pamina (F), all around 2 months old, were rescued by ANIMA on 18th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy their sibling, 2257-Pitt, had been injured from a dog fight in Coloane, near Escola de São José de Ka-Ho. 2262-Penley was sent to a clinic and his medical exams confirmed positive for parvovirus. Anima–April Adoption (SPP2234; SPP2236)!

<20-04-2020> Benson and Betzy were adopted today, by Ms. Pamela! SPP2234-Benson, SPP2235-Stacey, SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2237-Sabella, all siblings around 3 months old, under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 8th March 2020, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that SPP2237-Sabella was found dead in the site yesterday without any signs or symptoms of diseases. She asked us to help. SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2234-Benson went to a clinic for consultation. Exam results showed that both were positive for Parvovirus, but they recover and stay in our Dog’s Shelter. April Rescue (SPP2146; SPP2148; 2266; 2267; 2268; 2269)!

<20-04-2020> SPP2146-Barbie (F), around 3 years old, mother dog of SPP2148-Banko (M), around one year and five months old, together are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 6th August, 2019. SPP2148-Banko and SPP2146-Barbie with her new 4 puppies, 2266-Bryson (M), 2267-Blythe (F), 2268-Blair (F) and 2269-Barbara (F), all around 3 months old, were caught by IAM on 5th April 2020. Today, all were rescued by ANIMA from Macau Kennel and welcome in our Dog Shelter. Anima and IAM cooperate to save as many animals as possible! Thanks, IAM! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (C321-Blueye)!

<16-04-2020> C321-Blueye (M), around seven years old now, was rescued by Anima in 2013. Blueye always had a malfunction of his kidneys since he was hospitalized for treatment on 23rd November 2019. Recently, his condition was getting worse and he was sent to a clinic. According to the previous vet, Blueye's kidney problem is irreversible, and estimated life expectancy for 6 months to 1 year. Today, Anima was informed that Blueye passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Rescue (SPP2256-Kelsie)!

<16-04-2020> SPP2256-Kelsie (F), around 6 months old and now under our SPP at Ka Ho Workshop, was rescued by Anima on the 16th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that the female dog had not been seen eating for 5 days and vomited a yellowish fluid. Kelsie was sent to the clinic for make medical exams. Results showed that SPP2256-Kelsie is positive for anaplasmosis (bacterial infection). SPP2256-Kelsie will be staying in Anima for treatment. C1322-Rose (F), around one year old, C1775-Prince (M) and C1776-Princesa (F), both around five years old, C1777-Jo (M) and C1778-Jane (F), both around seven years old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 17th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Valeria informing us that she cannot keep all of her cats as her son has allergy. Anima–April Adoption (C2317-Akita)!

<16-04-2020> Akita was adopted by Ms. Lam, today! C2317-Akita (M), around 4 years old, was rescued by Anima on the 15th April 2020, after a call from ARTM reporting that a stray cat entered in their center and he had a swollen leg. Anima set up a cat trap to catch him there and we were informed by Ms. Lam that the cat went inside. C2317-Akita was sent to a clinic to check the right front paw which was swollen. According to the vet, he has a small fracture, but he doesn’t need surgery. Akita was adopted today by Ms. Lam! Thanks, Ms. Lam! Please, Adopt and Never Buy!
