Anima–April Return (B135-Viva)!

<08-04-2020> B143-Viva, a wild young dove, was rescued by Anima on 7th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Li informing us that B143-Viva had entered the terrace of his flat on Edf. Viva Court and got stuck on a mouse glue trap. Mr. Lau, his acquaintance, removed B143-Viva from the trap but the dove couldn’t fly. Our Rescue team sent B143-Viva to a Clinic for treatment. B143-Viva will stay in the clinic today. It was stayed in the clinic until now. Viva was released to nature today! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Adoption (H047-Grapes)!

<07-04-2020> Grapes was adopted today by Mr. Ng! H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. Anima–April Rescue (2253-Glady)!

<07-04-2020> 2253-Glady (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th April 2020, after a call from Water Plant Station informing us that a dog which did not belong to them has fallen into their basement from 2 to 3 floors high and had been there for a few days. The female dog, 2253-Glady was rescued by our rescue team. 2253-Glady was clinically observed and welcome to our Dog Shelter. Thanks, Water Plant Team! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (H038-Strawberry)!

06-04-2020 8 Hamsters, H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), both around 3 months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old, they were rescued by Anima on 27th January 2020, after we received a message from a 12 years old youngster, Keiji Kester Go Celestina on Facebook telling that he couldn’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and always fighting. He asked us to help. We collected 8 female hamsters first and later 20 males as we didn’t have enough cages. All of them stay in Anima. H038-Strawberry passed away today in Anima due to difficult breathing and a possible heart failure. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <05-04-2020> Aglaia was adopted today by Mr. Cheers! C2249-Aglaia (F), around three months old at the time, was rescued by Anima on the 11th December 2019, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that she found three kittens with their mother, around two weeks before, however we could only manage to catch C2224-Agnes by then. Anima–April Rescued (C1923-Stella)!

<03-04-2020> C1923-Stella (F), around 4 years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Today we received a call from Ms. Ip informing that one of the cats she is feeding for 2 years ago refuse to eat and drink. She asked our help. Our rescue team went to her place, scanned the microchip and confirm that the cat belongs to the ones who had scape before from ANIMA. Anima–April Sad News (558-Chi Ma)!

<03-04-2020> 558-Chi Ma (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2012 and has been with us until now. Recently, he was found bleeding from his nose. After a blood test and an X-ray, the results showed that Chi Ma has a very high infection due to an inflammation inside of his nose. 558-Chi Ma was sent to a clinic for further examination. Results revealed that his right nasal cavity and the paranasal sinuses has malignant tumors. According to the vet, surgery is not recommended due to the invasiveness of the surgery, unpleasant recovery period and might have a fast reoccurrence of tumor burden. Chi Ma was suffering from Cancer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made the sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is never an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please...
