Anima–May Deceased (C1448-Mufasa)!

<11-05-2019> C1448-Mufasa (M), around five years old at the time, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2017. Mufasa was abandoned in front of the entrance of Anima. Mufasa had been struggling with anemia and kidney problems for a while now. Yesterday, he got worse over night and was sent to the clinic. He was weak and couldn’t walk due to a dead leg, which was goinf to be amputated as soon as he got better. Mufasa died today in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Adoption (C1942-Starfruit)!

<11-05-2019> Starfruit was adopted today by Ms. Farinha! C1940-Orange (F), C1941-Pummelo (F), C1942-Starfruit (M), C1943-Nectarine (F) and C1944-Persimmon (F), all around three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th July 2018 through the help of a policeman, when found near Coloane prision on the 27th July 2019. C1942-Starfruit was then adopted, but now he has been returned because his adopter is moving to Hong Kong and could take his cat. Starfruit was adopted again today by Ms. Farinha! Thanks Ms. Farinha! Five greyhounds: 2031-Oyster Cookies (F), around eight years old at the time, 2032-Lovely Root (F), around eight years old at the time, 2033-Loren Splash (F), around nine years old at the time, 2034-Punk Dos (M), around eight years old at the time and 2035-City Hunter (M), around five years old at the time, were rescued by Anima on 17th June 2018 through IAM. Anima – May Rescue (C2114-Raina and C2115-Reanu)!

<09-05-2019> Yesterday, we got a call from Ms. Wong asking us to rescue a mother cat and her two kittens, since she hasn’t been successful to catch them. Ms. Wong told us that she has been feeding Raina, the mother, in an abandoned shop but since she had kittens, the landlord of the shop doesn’t want them in his property and asked her to stop feeding them. C2114-Raina (F), around one and a half years old and C2115-Reanu (M), around two months old, were rescued on the 9th May 2019, after a call from Ms. Wong claiming she managed to catch the mother cat and one of her kittens. Anima–May Deceased (C1347-Dicey)!

<09-05-2019> C1347-Dicey (M), with an estimated age of two years old at the time, was rescued by Anima on 1st December 2016, after a call from our staff reporting that a cat was found inside the cat trap in our Cat Paradise. Dicey was dealing with a long term kidney failure disease and last night he started to get weaker and stopped eating by himself. C1347-Dicey, died in Anima today. R.I.P. my friend! <05-05-2019> Today, we were visited by 14 people from Escola D. Luís Versigua as volunteers in our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2018, we had 8,612 visitors as compared with 9,251 in 2017! This year, up to April 2019, we had 2634 visitors, we have received 42 group visitors and we have been in four events organized by friends. Anima–May Adoption (SPP2101-Siu Siu)!

<04-05-2019> Siu Siu was adopted by Ms. Foong! SPP2101-Siu Siu (F), around three days old at the time, was rescued today after a call from Teng Ko whose dog found brought a puppy from a trash compactor truck. It is suspected that there were more puppies inside the truck but were smashed and killed by the compressor, leaving Siu Siu as the only survivor. Siu Siu was adopted by Ms. Foong! Thanks Ms. Foong!
