Anima – August Adoption (1601-Kanani)!

<13-08-2016> Kanani was adopted on 13th August 2016! How he was and how he is now! 1601-Kanani (M), on the time around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that a Pitbull Terrier was found in the park of Kwong Wa San Chuen with a bag. She asked us to help as she had no condition to keep the dog. Kanani had no microchip and he had a severe skin problem. He was collected to Anima and stayed with us until now. The adopter didn´t want to disclose a picture with Kanani. We have accepted as we have no rule forcing any adopter to disclose a picture with the adopted pet. Anima – August Adoption (C1224-Vesta)!

<13-08-2016> Vesta was adopted by Ms. Boekee on 13th August 2016! C1224-Vesta (F), on the time around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd June 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan, reporting that a kitten was found in Calçada de Santo Agostinho and could not open the eyes. As she was not well was immediately checked by out vet. However  we asked a second vet opinion and as so she was sent to a clinic for observation. Vesta stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Boekee! Anima – August Adoption (C1203-Gorman)!

<13-08-2016> Gorman was adopted by Mr. Chan on 13th August 2016! C1203-Gorman (M), together with C1201-Greer (M) and C1202-Gliton (M) were born by SPPC1194-Glenda on 24th May 2016. SPPC1194-Glenda (F), on the time around ten months old,  under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th May 2016,  was found pregnant and brought to Anima by Michele. Anima – August Adoption (C1137-Bosso)!

<13-08-2016> Bosso was adopted by Ms. Sou on 13th August 2016! C1137-Bosso, around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st March 2016, after a call from a man reporting that Bosso was fighting with other cat at home. On 23rd December 2015, we were contacted by the same owner asking us to collect his two cats as they were always attacking his older cat, C1137-Bosso. We collected one of the two cats, C1090-Shadie, at that time. The owner contacted us later referring that C1137-Bosso and the other cat were not fighting anymore. On 1st March 2016, the owner took C1137-Bosso to Anima and told us that Bosso was fighting with the other cat again. Very strange as Bosso was always attacked by the other cat! Cooperation Anima-IACM for the sake of the animals!

<12/08/2016> SPP710-Pak Sa (F) that was under our Special Protection Program since 2012, lived in a site, somewhere in Taipa. After being in Macau kennel for a while, she was sent to Coloane kennel and stays in pen 19 under Anima staff management. All animals in Coloane Kennel have play times as this is a principle in Anima. No animal is caged. Pak Sa had fever and the ankle of left hind leg was found swollen. She was sent to Macau kennel on 4th August 2016 for treatment and returned to Coloane kennel today. IACM and Anima are cooperating in order to avoid the killing of so many animals. We hope that the new law will reduce the number of animals being abandoned! Anima – August Return to family (1766-Yamato)!

<12-08-2016> 1766-Yamato (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog was leashed in Largo do Matadouro and he had a severely wound on his back. Blood test showed that he had anemia and infection. He was sent to a clinic for further examination. He received a surgery to suture the wound with 15 stitches. Today we received a call from a gentleman claimed that he was the owner of Yamato, its dog that lived with his ex-wife after they divorced. Due to some conflicts between them, Yamato was abandoned by his ex-wife in Coloane. The ex-husband had been searching him for few days in Coloane, when he knew that he was just abandonned. He was informed afterwards  that Yamato was rescued by us. He contacted us immediately and asked if he can get back his dog. After informed that Yamato went to a  clinic...

August Temporary Accommodation (SPPC976-Joey)!

<12-08-2016> SPPC976-Joey (F), under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, was rescued by Anima on 17th, March 2016, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. Joey was found pregnant before spayed. She gave birth to two kittens C1198-Jocoba and C1199-Jocobina in Anima, and they were adopted already. Joey was spayed and returned to her former place on 5th August 2016. She was sent to Anima today as she was not eating and getting skinny. She has gingivitis, apathy. She was  skinny and dehydrated. Her gums was very much inflamed, mandibular lymph nodes were swollen. She is staying in Anima under closely observation now. Never abandon your pet! Anima – August Sad News (SPPC972-Joe)!

<12-08-2016> SPPC972-Joe (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 17th June 2015, somewhere in Taipa. Joe was skinny and weak, he had been staying with us since that day. He was severely anemic, dehydrated, yellowish and he had sticky peritoneal effusion. He was sent to a clinic for blood transfusion last night. Unfortunately Joe didn’t make it, he passed away on the way back to Anima this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – August Adoption (C1219-Temple)!

<12-08-2016> Temple was adopted by Ms. Lam on 12th August 2016! C1219-Temple (M), on the time around two weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 18th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten, C1219-Temple, was found in a carton box at Calçada da Barra near A-Ma Temple. He was very weak, with hypothermia, couldn’t open the left eye, both eyes got yellowish discharge and a watery nasal discharge too. Temple was recovered and adopted today. Thanks Ms. Lam!
