Anima – July Rescue (C1235-Coal)!

C1235-Coal (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she used to feed four cats in a temple, but the monks and nuns were not friendly to the cats! They do not allow her also to feed the cats and one of them was pregnant! We  lent a trap for Ms. Chan to catch them. Today Coal was caught and sent to our shelter. Coal has a wound on the tail with flea infection, skin lesion and also upper respiratory problems. She is under observation now. Thanks Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – July Rescue (C1234-Icy)!

C1234-Icy (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten was given to her by a passer-by in Our Lady's Fatima Church. Ms. Lei asked for our help because there are eight cats in the church already. She is staying with us now. Thanks Ms. Lei! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! B032-Lonely was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Diana reporting that a bird couldn’t fly near Rua Afonso de Albuquerque. Lonely was sent to a clinic immediately. Anima – July Sad News (1678-Leanna)!

SPP1669-Loi Loi, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2016 after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is a distressed situation that we do not advise anyone to deal with! SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were delivered to a clinic for de-sex surgery. SPP1670-Angel was spayed and returned to her in good condition. However, SPP1669-Loi Loi was found pregnant and she had to stay in Anima temporarily to give birth. SPP1669-Loi Loi gave birth to six puppies on 20th March 2016, 1677-Layla, 1678-Leanna, 1679-Lavon, 1680-Lavar, 1681-Lawton and 1682-Lawson. 1677-Layla was born with abnormality and she had cleft palate. Anima – 10th July, Adoption Day in Lok Yeong Fa Yuen!

Beginning from February 2016, Anima is holding two adoption days outside Anima on the second and last Sunday of every month. Around 15 people have visited us today at Lok Yeong Fa Yuen! We were supported by six volunteers, Lily, Cherry, Martha, Iris, Brenda and Teresa and we took seven of our dogs. Thank you all for your big support! Please do not buy, Adopt! Today, 48 people visited us, 16 of them were students from Escola Luso-Chinesa Tecnico-Profissional! Thanks for your strong support! Anima – July Sad News (H009-Toe Toe)!

H005-Dim Dim (M), H006-Sum Sum (F), around four months old, together with three new born babies H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe, were rescued by Anima on 6th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Muk, a cleaner in Edificio Wang Son. She found H005-Dim Dim, H006-Sum Sum, H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe in a cage abandoned in the garbage room with a note. H006-Sum Sum is the mother of H007-Tic Tic, H008-Tac Tac and H009-Toe Toe. They were collected by us and H005-Dim Dim was staying in a separated cage, while H006-Sum Sum was staying with the three babies in another cage! Toe Toe was found death this morning! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – July Rescue (C1232-Stone)!

C1232-Stone (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Fung reporting that a cat was found in Rua Dois do Bairro da Areia Preta and was very weak. Stone was severely dehydrated, very slim and full of fleas. He was weak and hungry and is now under IV dripping. Thanks Ms. Fung! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet!
