Anima – July Rescue (C1233-Eliana)!

C1233-Eliana (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that there were three cats living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. C1230-Mat and C1231-Mateo that were rescued yesterday are the kittens of Eliana. They are all staying with us now, mother and kids! Thanks Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima – July Rescue (B032-Lonely)!

B032-Lonely was rescued by Anima on 9th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Diana reporting that a bird, near Rua Afonso de Albuquerque, couldn’t fly . Lonely was sent to a clinic immediately and needs to stay overnight in clinic for observation. Thanks Ms. Diana! Please help us to help them! All animals have rights! Anima – June Rescue (1756-Canaan)!

1756-Canaan (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a puppy was found in a carton box in a construction site of MGM, completed wet, shaking and barely moving. We picked up Canaan and she was checked by our vet. Parvovirus  and Distemper tests were  both negative. She had difficulty in breathing and the gums were pale and the  right eye was blind. We suspected she was hit by a car. She was sent to a clinic for further consultation and examination. Blood test showed she is anemic. She is staying in clinic under IV dripping now and an X-ray will be done afterwards. Thanks Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! H002-Ham Ham (F), H003-Maru (F), H004-Fufu (M), all around 4 months old, were rescued by Anima on 28th June 2016, after a call from Mr. Fong reporting that he didn’t want to keep his three hamsters because they had fleas. Anima – June Rescue (1755-Rainie)!

1755-Rainie (F), around six years old, was rescued by our president Mr. Albano on 28th June 2016. Rainie was found wandering under the pouring rain in the middle of the road in Altinho de Ka-Ho. All  trucks and cars stopped as she was completely disoriented,  wet and scared. Mr. Albano picked her up to his car and sent to Anima. Rainie was checked by our vet and dewormed, no microchip was found on her. She will stay with us and will be socialized with our dogs later. Thanks Mr. Albano! Please help us to help them! Anima – June Rescue (SPPC1160-Velvet)!

SPPC1160-Velvet (F), around two years old, that was under our Special Protection Program from 14th April 2016,  was brought to Anima by Michele on 28th June 2016, after a call from her reporting that Velvet was found severely dehydrated and apathetic. She has Gingivitis and the gums were inflamed. Her right front limb was limping as well, showing pain when being touched. Velvet is staying in Anima under IV dripping now. Thanks Ms. Michele! IACM – June Adoption (451-Ivonne)!

451-Ivone was first adopted from Anima on 20 June 2009 and was abandoned in Praça do Tap Seac. Someone found her in the street and delivered her to IACM. After she was adopted again in kennel on 10th April 2015, but we were informed by IACM that Ivone was abandoned in kennel on 18th May 2016. Fortunately, by an old informal policy between Anima and IACM, when we transfer our property to a new adopter our name is internally registered in IACM file. Thanks to our new cooperation with IACM, and because we are completely full, Ivone was subject to Adoption in IACM. IACM has informed us that Ivonne was adopted by Mr. Fung today! Thanks Mr. Fung! Anima – June New Dog under SPP (SPP1735-Frida)!

SPP1735-Frida (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that some dogs in Coloane needed to transfer to another place. According to Ms. Rebecca, there were eight dogs in the site, being Mr. Cheong the person responsible for them in that area. Ms. Rebecca found a place to keep all of them. SPP1731-Fay and SPP1732-Fern were caught on 30th May 2016. Today Frida was caught. She was neutered already. Mr. Cheong will keep trying to catch all of them and move them to that safety place. Frida is under our Special Protection Program now. She is staying with Fay and Fern in that safety place. Thanks Ms. Rebecca and Mr. Cheong! Please help us to help them!
