Anima – May Sad News (C899-Marcus)!

C899-Marcus (M) was rescued on 18th February 2015 and died today! Marcus was rescued near Santa Casa da Misericordia, after a call from Ms. Law reporting that Marcus stayed in the same place for two days. Our rescued team collected him and took to a clinic as we suspected he was injured by a car. After several months with us under treatment we were not able  to save him! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – May Return and Abandonment (C821-Hogan)

C821-Hogan (M), with C822-Howar (M), on the time around six months old, were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2014 in Coloane> Their mother SPPC785-Jill was under our Special Protection Program from 22nd August 2014. Hogan was adopted on 13th January 2015. However, Hogan was returned today. Tha adopter informed that her landlord didn't allow her to have pets in the apartment. We disagree with her decision and consider this as an abandonment but we want the best for the cat. She should have fight for Hogan as any family should do! Please be a responsible owner! Anima – May Rescue (C1206, C1207)!

C1206-Vick (M), around one month old, with C1207-Viggo (M), around three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that two kittens were abandoned in a container outside Paróquia de Fátima in Macau. We picked them up and they were checked by our vet. They were weak, skinny and dehydrated. Viggo was in a  more serious situation, he had fleas all over his body and hypothermia. Both of them will be taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as they still needs milk feeding. Thanks Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – May Adoption (C1164-Kaspar)!

Kaspar was adopted by Ms. Hao on 27th May 2016! C1164-Kaspar (M), on the time around 20 days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a kitten, C1164-Kaspar was found in Rua dos Colonos and he was very weak. After the rescue, C1164-Kaspar was checked and dewormed. He had Upper Respiratory Infection and Conjunctivitis. C1164-Kaspar was taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he needed milk feeding. Kaspar stayed with us up to now. Thanks Ms. Hao! Please help us to help them! Anima – May Adoption (C1146-Jinn)!

Jinn was adopted by Mr. Leong on 26th May 2016! C1146-Jinn, together with C1147-Visky, C1148-Borbon, C1149-Vocca and C1150-Rum were born on 29th March 2016 by SPPC1128-Maxi at Anima. Maxi was rescued in Taipa on 19th February 2016 and was found pregnant before neuter. Jinn stayed with us in Anima up to now. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima – May Rescue (C1205-Mochi)!

C1205-Mochi (M), around three days old, was rescued by Anima on 25th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Tai reporting that a kitten was found at Rua dos Ervanarios. Mochi was brought to Anima. He was checked and dewormed. He has a little nasal discharge and a small wound near the throat. He will be taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he still needs milk feeding. Anima – May Rescue (C1204-Collier)!

C1204-Collier (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 25th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Tam reporting that a cat entered his building near R. do Almirante Sergio two days ago. Mr. Tam took him home because he was skinny. According to him, his wife started showing allergic reactions after living with Collier. Collier was brought to Anima and was checked by our vet. Rolling Puppet Theatre (Face Painting Tour at Anima)!

Today, 65 people visited us, 16 of them joined the Face Painting Tour which was holding by Rolling Puppet Theatre! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to April 2016, Anima received 2,598 visitors, an increase of 10.51% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased to 22 groups! Anima – May Adoption (C1157-Hank)!

Hank was adopted by Bernardino on 22nd May 2016! C1157-Hank, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ieong, informing that he found a new born kitten on the road side of Praça de Ponte e Horta the night before. He sent Hank to a clinic immediately and Hank stayed there overnight. Mr. Ieong asked if we could collect Hank as he didn’t know how to take care of a new born kitten and the hospitalization fee was too expensive. Our rescue team picked up Hank and we noticed that Mr. Ieong had already paid the vet bill. Hank stayed with our supervisor Zoe as he needed milk feeding. Now was adopted by Bernardino!
