Anima–July Sad News (C1618-Marco)!

<07-07-2017> C1618-Marco (M), C1619-Milton (M) and C1620-Muriel (M), all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 28th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Bing reporting that three kittens were found in a street of Barra. No mother was around. She asked our help as the kittens were too young to survive by themselves. They were fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily as they need milk feeding. C1618-Marco was checked by our vet few days ago as he had diarrhea. He also had hypothermia and intestinal parasites, medication was prescribed. Unfortunately he passed away during the night. Anima–July Sad News (C1611-Darkie)!

<07-07-2017> C1611-Darkie (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Song reporting that a kitten was found alone in Kun Iam Temple. C1611-Darkie was checked by our vet and dewormed. He was staying in our Cat’s Paradise. C1611-Darkie had vomited on 28th June and was transferred to our vet area under medication. He was found with diarrhea and stopped eating since yesterday. This morning C1611-Darkie was very weak and had low temperature. We tried to regain the temperature by putting warmth bag but he passed away after 30 minutes. Peritoneal fluid was found in his abdomen and we suspected the cause of death was FIP. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Rescue (C1636-Regina)!

<07-07-2017> C1636-Regina (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Kong reporting that her friend found and took a cat home two weeks ago near Macau Kennel and tried to find someone to adopt her but failed. C1636-Regina was adopted once but returned after few days. Both of them have dogs at home and the dogs try to attack her. C1636-Regina was checked by our vet and dewormed. <07-07-2017> C1635-Ari (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that a kitten was found in Rua da Felicidade and she has no experience to take care of a young kitten. Anima–July Rescue (C1634-Sam Sam)!

<07-07-2017> C1634-Sam Sam (M), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that her friend, Ms. Hoi found a kitten in Rua de Chaves. The right ear of C1634-Sam Sam was burned off and the wound hasn’t healed yet. C1634-Sam Sam was sent to a clinic for a surgery. He is staying in the clinic under treatment now. Anima–July Rescue (C1633-Water)!

<07-07-2017> C1633-Water (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten has been crying for few days in a private empty plot of Travessa do Cais No. 23. We tried to use food to lure C1633-Water but failed. As so, we called Fire Department to help and later C1633-Water was rescued. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has the eyes infected. Anima–July Rescue (C1374-Caramel II)!

<05-07-2017> C1374-Caramel II (M), with an estimated age of five years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she rescued a cat 1.5 years ago in Cheoc Van but Caramel II has been wild and aggressive. She reported that he destroyed everything in her house and attacked her young daughter. He was castrated but according to her it couldn’t help to improve his behavior. Filipa realized that he was stressful in his new environment in CP and as he was sick she got him back on 22nd January 2017 and tried to help him. Anima–July Rescue (1905-Chiwa)!

<04-07-2017> 1905-Chiwa (F), around nine years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that his neighbor found some bad smell and barking from an apartment in Taipa, since one week ago. Mr. Chan tried to find out what happened but there was no one answered the door. He also tried to contact the apartment’s owner but failed. We asked Fire Department to help and finally 1905-Chiwa was rescued. A family relative open the door and accepted to give her to us.
