Anima–February Return and Abandonment (C103-Mina)!

<28-02-2017> C103-Mina (F) was one of our cats that has lived in Anima for the longest time. Mina was adopted on 5th March 2016. However, according to the adopter she never adapted to her home. It seems very strange as the cats are animals that easily adapt to any house after one or two weeks! She is staying with us again now. An adoption is a serious decision! Please do it with responsibility! Please adopt and never buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–Services provided to our community (1862-Yen)!

<28-02-2017> Anima helped Mrs. Judie to deliver her dog 1862-Yen (F) to a clinic, as Yen was vomiting. Tomorrow we will go there again to help Yen for the recheck. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima–February Rescue (R032-Seibo)!

<28-02-2017> R032-Seibo (M), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 28th February 2017, after a call from Mr. Tou reporting that he is going to leave Macau and no one could take care of his rabbit. Seibo has a tumor in his lower abdomen and he will have a surgery to remove it. He is in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-February Sad News (C1427-Leona)!

<27-02-2017> C1427-Leona (F), was rescued by Anima on 20th February 2017, when she was around few days old, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was inside a plastic bag in Rua Oeste do Mercado de São Domingos. Leona had hypothermia from time to time since rescued. She was fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily as she needed milk feeding. Today Leona had an eye infection and was checked by our vet. Later in the evening she had difficulty to breathe and unfortunately she passed away around 9:30 pm during the night. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1436, SPPC1437)!

<27-02-2017> SPPC1436-Cally (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1437-Calla (F), with an estimated age of nine months old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 27th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. They were dewormed, received the 1st vaccination and returned to their former place after body check. Michele is responsible for them in that area. <27-02-2017> C1435-Nike (M), with an estimated age of eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 27th February 2017, after a call from Mr. Ao reporting that a cat was found by his neighbor in the building (Edificio)  Kuong Long. Anima–February Rescue (C1434-Noel)!

<27-02-2017> C1434-Noel (M), with an estimated age of six years old, was rescued by Anima on 27th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Mak reporting that a cat was found in Mandarin's House and he was weak. Noel was sent to a clinic immediately by Ms. Mak. He has a dehydration, gingivitis and stomatitis and he is staying with us under observation now. Thanks Ms. Mak! Please help us to help them! Anima-February Sad News (C1422-Chili)!

<26-02-2017> C1406-Karen (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th January 2017, when she was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that she used to feed two cats in Hellen Garden and one of them was injured. The injured one, C1402-Kirin, was rescued on 25th January 2017. He was attacked by a new cat over there. His eye was swollen with watery blood coming out. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. The left eye lid got a long cutting wound and four stitches were required to close it up. He has stayed with us under close observation and medication. We set up a trap and the sibling, C1406-Karen, was caught on 29th January 2017. Karen was staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise. She got pregnant before we caught her. Two kittens, C1422-Chili and C1423-Paprika, were born by her on 11th February 2017. They were fostered temporarily by our staff...

Anima–Adoption Day in Flower City with CTM!

<26-02-2017> Today Anima had a joint adoption day with CTM in Flower City! CTM and Anima are cooperating to spread the message of helping animals in our daily life> CTM has produced a very beautiful shopping bag! All the amount received from the sales of those shopping bags  will be donated to Anima. During the event, our president was interviewed and the interview will be shown in the opening of Macau GoodHands online shopping platform. Inside this platform, CTM helps Anima to create a special page for us to promote animal adoption. Around 80 people have visited us today at Flower City and all the shopping bags that CTM brought to the adoption day were sold out! We were supported by seven volunteers, all of them are from UMAC.
