Anima–February Rescue (C1427-Leona)!

<20-02-2017> C1427-Leona (F), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 20th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was inside a plastic bag in Rua Oeste do Mercado de São Domingos. Leona has hypothermia. She is fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily as she needs milk feeding. Thanks Ms. Lam and Zoe! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-FAOM Visited Us!

<19-02-2017> Today, 108 people visited our Dog Shelter and Cat’s Paradise, 16 of them were from FAOM! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to January 2017, Anima received 788 visitors, an increase of 22% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima-February New Born and Sad News (C1426-Dawn)!

<18-02-2017> C1421-Saniya (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, when she was around one year old, after a call from Mr. Lo reporting that he used to feed cats in a place of Macau and there was a female cat that got pregnant. Saniya was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise. One kitten, C1426-Dawn, was found miscarried by her today. Saniya was sent to a clinic as she needed a cesarean surgery to remove the rest of the kittens. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-February Sad News (982-Zima)!

<18-02-2017> 982-Zima (F), with an estimated age of 4.5 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 14th February 2013, after a call from Ms. Eszter reporting that a dog was found in Ka-Ho. Zima was  getting slim. She was diagnosed in the last stage of kidney failure,  was very weak, dehydrated, skinny and was vomiting and has bloody diarrhea in the past two days. She entered in pain and began to suffer! There was not much we could do for her. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Abandonment and Rescue (C1239-C1243, C1425)!

<17-02-2017> 1239-Handsome (M), with an estimated age of three years old, C1240-B Loi (F), with an estimated age of four years old, C1241-Playful (F), with an estimated age of 1.5 years old, C1242-Fei Mui (F) and C1243-Pineapple (M), both with an estimated age of four years old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Lou informing that she wanted to abandon her nine cats. That was not the first time she tried to do that. Last time the daughter didn’t authorize. She decided to abandon the five most active cats promising to find a good home for the remaining. C1239-Handsome, C1240-B Loi, C1241-Playful, C1242-Fei Mui and C1243-Pineapple were sent to us. They were collected back by Ms. Lou and her daughter on 30th July 2016, as the daughter was against the decision of abandoning them! However, today we received a call from Ms. Lou again telling...

Anima–February Adoption (SPPC1350-Jupiter)!

<16-02-2017> Jupiter was adopted by Ms. Lei on 16th February 2017! SPPC1350-Jupiter (M), on the time with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1351-Moo (M), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th December 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Jupiter was staying with us temporarily for castration. Moo was returned to his former place after dewormed. Michele was responsible for them in that area. Anima supported the neuter, provided food for all of them and the medical care if needed. Jupiter has stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Lei! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–February Adoption (C1418-Bagherra)!

<16-02-2017> Bagherra was adopted by Mr. Ryan on 16th February 2017! C1418-Bagherra (M), was rescued by Anima on 7th February 2017, when he was around four months old, after a call from Ms. Gor reporting that a kitten was found in Hellen Garden. Bagherra was scared and hungry when was found. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had gingivitis and stomatitis, and stayed in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication. Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (1857-Kalina)!

<16-02-2017> 1857-Kalina (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 16th February 2017, after a call from the Traffic Department reporting that a dog was hit by a motorcycle in front of Restaurant Miramar. Unfortunately Kalina passed away before we arrived. Her body was collected to Anima to be delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Traffic Department! Please help us to help them!
