Anima–Rescued and Returned to Nature (B061-Cuckoo)!

<03-02-2017> B061-Cuckoo was rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from our cat supervisor, Ms. Connie, reporting that a bird was found unable to fly outside the entrance of Cat’s Paradise. Cuckoo was checked by our vet. We were happy as Cuckoo was capable to fly and as so he was released! Thanks Ms. Connie! Fly free my friend! Anima–February Rescue (1853, 1854)!

<03-02-2017> 1853-Jolin (F) and 1854-Jon (M), both with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that two puppies fall down to the area under the bridge of Hac Sa Reservoir for few days and were not capable to go out! We contacted the Fire Department to help us as there was no way to reach there. Jolin and Jon were checked by our vet and dewormed. They are staying with us now. Thanks Ms. Wong and Fire Department! Anima–February Rescue (1845-1852)!

<03-02-2017> The mother, 1845-Ady (F), with an estimated age of three years old, together with her puppies, 1846-Alisa (F), 1847-Ayla (F), 1848-Anya (F), 1849-Ava (F), 1850-Ann (F), 1851-Allan (M) and 1852-Avon (M), all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd February 2017, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that a dog gave birth to seven puppies in a site of Coloane and they needed our help. <02-02-2017> Today, 57 people visited our Cat’s Paradise, five of them came to work and play with our cats! They are Kandy, Joey, Kaci, Ivy and Wendy, all students from Our Lady of Fatima Girls' School. Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Please be our volunteer! We need you! Thank you for trusting us and supporting our work! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! Anima–February Adoption (SPPC1393-Olaf)!

<02-02-2017> Olaf was adopted by Mr. Lam on 2nd February 2017! SPPC1393-Olaf (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima, when he was around two months old, through Michele, on 19th January 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Olaf was checked by our vet and dewormed. He was returned to his former place after a body check. Michele was responsible for him in that area. Olaf was adopted today. Thanks Mr. Lam! Anima–February Adoption (C1288-Prissy)!

<01-02-2017> Prissy was adopted by Mr. Rashid on 1st February 2017! C1288-Prissy (F) and C1289-Funny (F), were rescued by Anima on 23rd September 2016, when they were few days old, after a call from Mr. Kuok reporting that two kittens were found in Praça de Ponte e Horta the night before. He took care of them for a night and asked our help. Prissy and Funny were collected to Anima. They were fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Anima–February Rescue (1843-Furby)!

<01-02-2017> 1843-Furby (M), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st February 2017, after a call from Mr. Lok reporting that a puppy was found alone hiding under a motorcycle near the Mercado Municipal da Taipa. Our shelter is full but we have no choice as Furby is too young to survive by himself on the street. He was full of fleas and will be after quarantine socialized with other puppies . Thanks Mr. Lok! Anima–Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1414-Violet)!

<01-02-2017> SPPC1414-Violet (F), with an estimated age of 12 years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 1st February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. Violet was found getting skinny with bad smell from her mouth. She has gingivitis and fleas infection. She was drooling, and was bleeding when we were checking the mouth.
