Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1814-Doto)!

<13-12-2016> Doto was released on 13th December 2016! SPP1814-Doto (M), was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 15th November 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that a dog was hit by a car in Seac Pai Van. His right front leg was crushed by car and the ankle was swollen and deformed. Doto was sent to a clinic and x-ray showed that the leg had fracture. The vet fixated the fracture part, and it was healed by himself with bandage and treatment. Doto has been staying in the clinic until he has fully recovered. Doto was returned to his former place today. Ms. Ieong and Mr. Lam are responsible for him in that area. Thanks Ms. Ieong and Mr. Lam! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! Anima–December Rescue (C1354-Hana)!

<13-12-2016> C1354-Hana (F), with an estimated age of four months old, was rescued by Anima on 13th December 2016, after a call from Mr. Tse reporting that a kitten was found in Flora Garden last night. Hana was sent to a clinic by Mr. Tse as she has an eye infection and was limping as well. An x-ray showed that her left hind leg was broken and needs a surgery to fix it. Hana is staying in the clinic and will be under surgery tomorrow. Thanks Mr. Tse! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–Return From Foster Family (C355-Salsa)!

<13-12-2016> C355-Salsa (F), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 9th June 2012, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that she heard some cats meowing in a car park near Fortuna Hotel. Four kittens, C355-Salsa, C356-Twain, C357-Oregon and C358- Paprika were found inside a car engine and they were all brought to Anima. Salsa was fostered by Mr. Jefferson on 13th November 2016. She was returned today as Mr. Jefferson is going on vacation. He will foster Salsa again when he comes back. Thanks Mr. Jefferson! Please adopt and foster, don’t buy! Anima–December Adoption (C1329-Sheldon)!

<13-12-2016> Sheldon was adopted by Mr. Ng on 13th December 2016! C1329-Sheldon (M) and C1330-Shelko (M), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2016, both with an estimated age of four months old, after a call from Ms. Hao reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens that needed help in Rua (street) 1 de Maio. According to Ms. Hao, the mother gave birth few times already. Her kittens Sheldon and Shelko were caught that day. Sheldon and Shelko were sneezing, they had an eye infection and nose discharge as well. They were dewormed and under medication. Sheldon has stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Ng! Anima–Hard Rock Hotel Macau Visited Us!

<12-12-2016> Today, 16 people visited our Cat Paradise, 21 people visited our dog shelter, 10 of them were from Hard Rock Hotel Macau! Two boxes of cat can food and one box of dog can food were donated by them. Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to November 2016, Anima received 6,408 visitors, an increase of 20.50% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima-Return and Abandonment (SPPC1293, SPPC1294)!

<11-12-2016> SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), were rescued by Anima through Michele with an estimated age of five months old, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Ava had upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. She was sneezing, the right eye lid was reddish and inflamed. She was under medication. Homer and Pigeon were healthy and stayed with us for adoption. Homer and Pigeon were adopted on 1st December 2016. However, they were returned today as the adopter said they were always fighting with each other, especially during midnight, which caused a lot of noise and their neighbours were complaining. There is a probation period for all animals and adopters of 15 days! We want a perfect «marriage» between animal and owner! Please adopt and never buy! An adoption is a serious decision! Anima–Adoption Day in Grand Coloane Resort!

<11-12-2016> Anima has a joint event with the Grand Coloane Resort “Christmas Village Opening Day” and “Anima Adoption Day” on 11th December 2016, from 12 noon to 6 pm! We have a family and kids fun zone, international food and beverage booths, live performances, pets adoption corner and festival art jamming inside the hotel area. All with free Entrance, Parking and Shuttle Bus! All donation during the event are contributed to ANIMA! Around 30 people were with us today at Grand Coloane Resort! We were supported by three volunteers, Tanya, Chloe and Diana and we took six of our dogs. Today in the adoption day we received one application for godparent. Thank you all for your big support! Anima-December Temporary Accommodation (687-Rex)!

<11-12-2016> 687-Rex is now accommodated in Anima for 15 days, until 25th December, as the family is going on a vacation. Ms. Ng and the family came several times to Anima to walk Rex, before adopting Rex! Rex was adopted by Ms. Ng on 20th June 2015. Rex was one of our well known dogs, friendly with people, puppies and all dogs. He was one of our ambassadors! We are happy to see Rex again. If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge, during the first year of adoption. Never buy, please adopt!
