<29-11-2016> Anima helped Ms. Ines to deliver her cats C1316-Cupid and C1317-Moon to Macau Kennel for blood test as she is not in Macau. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima-November Sad News (134-Archie)!

<28-11-2016> 134-Archie (M), with an estimated age of eleven years old now, passed away this morning in the clinic. Archie was sent to a clinic for further examination on 19th November as he was shrinking lately. He refused to eat. X-ray showed unidentified thing in the bowel, seemed like stones. A surgery was performed and a tumor was removed from the bowel yesterday. Unfortunately, we were informed by the clinic that he passed away in the morning. He was one of the dogs that had stayed with us for the longest time. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue (1819-Kit Kat)!

<28-11-2016> 1819-Kit Kat (M), with an estimated age of six days old, was rescued by Anima on 28th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a puppy was found in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira in a carton box. Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (SPP1820-Beatles)!

<28-11-2016> SPP1820-Beatles (M), with an estimated age of ten years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 28th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog was hit by a truck in a site of Macau. He was limping and refused to eat since three days ago. Beatles was sent to a clinic and a x-ray showed that his bladder was broken. A surgery was performed but the damage of the bladder was too severe to fix. After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima–November Return to Family (SPP1666-Tiko)!

<28-11-2016> SPP1666-Tiko was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for six days, since 22nd November 2016. Tiko was adopted by Ms. Emma on 22nd November 2016! See how he was when rescued, how he grew and how beautiful and happy Tiko is now with the new family! Tiko was a stray animal under our Special Protection Program (SPP) living in a site! This is a good example of care! SPP1666-Tiko (M) was rescued by Anima in Coloane on 14th March 2016 as he was found breathing hard and vomiting. He was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately and he had to stay overnight there for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needed a surgery but could only do it after few days and he had possibilities of survive. A second vet opinion from other clinic referred that the success of a surgery was very limited and serious danger might occur...

University of Macau (Choi Kai Yau College) Visited Us!

<27-11-2016> Today, 58 people visited us, 12 of them were from University of Macau (Choi Kai Yau College)! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to October 2016, Anima received 5,790 visitors, an increase of 21.60% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima–November Return to Family (SPP1123-Ruby)!

<27-11-2016> SPP1123-Ruby (Maly) was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 16 days, since 12th November 2016. Ruby was one dog under our S.P. Program that was adopted. See how happy was Ruby! He has been always free with us! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members. For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450, enough to pay two annual membership...

Anima–Adoption Day in Grand Coloane Resort!

<27-11-2016> Anima has a joint event with the Grand Coloane Resort called “Christmas Village Opening Day” and “Anima Adoption Day” on 27 November 2016 from 12noon to 6pm! We had a family and kids fun zone, international food and beverage booths, live performances, pets adoption corner and festival art jamming inside the hotel area. All with free Entrance, Parking and Shuttle Bus! All donation during the event are dedicated to ANIMA! Around 100 people were with us today at Grand Coloane Resort! Kids from ARTM (Youth team) has been there making beautiful paints for Anima! Anima-The Opening of Anima Cat’s Paradise!

<26-11-2016> Today was our Anima Cat’s Paradise Opening Ceremony! 55 people have visited us! Thanks for your strong support! As the number of abandoned animals has increased strongly, Anima decided to have an area totally dedicated to our cats, concentrating all our dogs in our Shelter in Altinho de Ka-Ho, and as so increasing the quality of life of both types of animals.
