Anima–November Rescue (B056-BB)!

<23-11-2016> B056-BB was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a bird was found soaking and unable to fly near Macau Polytechnic Institute. BB was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, BB is still very young and have not learnt how to fly. BB is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Gina! Please help us to help them! All animals have rights! Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1740-Reko)!

<22-11-2016> Reko was released on 22nd November 2016! Two female dogs, SPP1738-Ressie and SPP1739-Ria and a male dog, SPP1740-Reko, on the time all with an estimated age of two years old, and five puppies from Ressie, SPP1741-Reva, SPP1742-Rilla, SPP1743-Rita, SPP1744-Ren and SPP1745-Renzo, on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 16th June 2016, after a call from Mrs. Catarina informing us of the situation of those puppies somewhere in Coloane. They were under Mr. Ieong’s responsibility. SPP1739-Ria and SPP1740-Reko were rescued by Anima on 19th November 2016, after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that they needed to be neutered. They were sent to a clinic for  surgery. Reko was castrated and returned to his former place today. Mr. Ieong is responsible for them in that area. Anima–November Rescue (1817-Wes)!

<22-11-2016> 1817-Wes (M), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy was found in a plastic box near Escola S. José de Ka-Ho. There are no other puppies in that area, and the adult dogs are mostly neutered. Wes was checked by our vet and dewormed. He is fostered by our Supervisor Zoe temporarily now. Adoption, Temporary Accommodation (SPP1666-Tiko)!

<22-11-2016> Tiko was adopted by Ms. Emma on 22nd November 2016! See how he was when rescued, how he grew and how beautiful and happy Tiko is now with the new family! Tiko was a stray animal under our Special Protection Program (SPP) living in a site! This is a good example of care! SPP1666-Tiko (M) was rescued by Anima in Coloane on 14th March 2016 as he was found breathing hard and vomiting. He was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately and he had to stay overnight there for observation. The first vet opinion shown he needed a surgery but could only do it after few days and he had possibilities of survive. A second vet opinion from other clinic referred that the success of a surgery was very limited and serious danger might occur during the surgery. Anima–November Adoption (C1328-Prince)!

<22-11-2016> Prince was adopted by Ms. Ng on 22nd November 2016! C1328-Prince (M), was rescued by Anima on 10th November 2016, with an estimated age of nine months old, after a call from Mr. Hun reporting that his friend gave him a cat but he couldn’t keep him anymore. According to Mr. Hun, Prince couldn’t get along well with his dog and he asked our help. Prince has stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Ng! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–November Adoption (C1320, C1321)!

<21-11-2016> Goma and Ginger II were adopted by Ms. Leung on 21st November 2016! C1320-Goma (F) and C1321-Ginger II (F), both were rescued by Anima on 3rd November 2016, with an estimated age of four years old, after a call from our staff, reporting that someone told them there were two cats in front of the entrance of the Water Company near Anima. Our staff found two cats inside the container over there. The cats were checked by our vet and dewormed. After that, Anima received a call from the owner telling that she didn’t pay the rent long time and her landlord got back the apartment and put her two cats near our shelter, asking us for collecting them. The owner claimed that her friend will come to Anima to pick them up as she is not in Macau right now. Goma and Ginger II were adopted by her friend Ms....

Anima–ARTM (Youth Team) Visited Us!

<20-11-2016> Today, 33 people visited us, ten of them were from ARTM (Youth Team)! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to October 2016, Anima received 5,790 visitors, an increase of 21.60% as compared with the same period of last year! Anima–November Rescue (C1341-Kobe)!

<20-11-2016> C1341-Kobe (F), with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 20th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Hui reporting that a kitten was found in Jardim de S. Francisco. Kobe was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was fostered by our Treasurer, Connie,  temporarily as she needs force feeding. Thanks Ms. Hui and Connie! Please help us to help them!
