Anima–November Foster (C355-Salsa)!

<13-11-2016> C355-Salsa (F), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 9th June 2012, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that she heard some cats meowing in a car park near Fortuna Hotel. Four kittens, C355-Salsa, C356-Twain, C357-Oregon and C358- Paprika were found inside a car engine and they were all brought to Anima. Salsa was fostered by Mr. Jefferson today. Thanks Mr. Jefferson! Anima-November Sad News (C1335-Flossie)!

<13-11-2016> C1335-Flossie (F), was rescued by Anima on 12th November 2016 with an estimated age of three months old, after a call from Ms. Sarah reporting that a kitten was found in Calçada da Surpresa n. 12, and she was very weak. Flossie was checked by our vet and dewormed. She had upper respiratory tract infection and her eyes were swollen with discharge. She was fostered temporarily by our cat supervisor Peng as she needed force feeding. Unfortunately she passed away last night. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (C1306-Chui)!

<13-11-2016> C1306-Chui (F), was rescued by Anima on 10th October 2016 with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from a guy reporting that he couldn’t keep his cat anymore as he was leaving Macau. We disagreed with his decision but we wanted the best for the cat. Chui was spayed already. Chui had difficulty in breathing and he was panting this morning. She was sent to a clinic for consultation and did an x-rays. Unfortunately she passed away after the x-ray examination. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Sheng Kung Hui Youth Service Visited Us!

<13-11-2016> Today, 52 people visited us, 15 of them were from Sheng Kung Hui Youth Service! Thanks for your strong support! Anima–November Rescue (1812-Bun Bun)!

<13-11-2016> 1812-Bun Bun (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th November 2016, after a call from a volunteer reporting that a bulldog was found in Rua de Entre-Campos and he was asking food from the tourists. He was taken to our Cat Paradise and we gave immediately dry food and water and he rapidly ate all and drank lots of water. No microchip was found on him. Our supervisor Zoe leashed him and walked with him for almost one hour in the place nearby where he was found, but seems no one was looking for him. We even talked to the people over there, but no one knew this dog. Bun Bun was then transferred to Anima main shelter. We have decided that, once we know the owner, we will give the dog back to him/her, if he/she can proof the dog belongs to...

<12-11-2016> C1334-Fufu (M), with an estimated age of nine months old, was rescued by Anima on 12th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that she used to feed the cats in Rua de Ferreira do Amaral but she is not allowed to put food over there now. Anima–November Temporary Accomodation (SPP1123-Ruby)

<12/11/2016> SPP1123-Ruby (Maly) is now accommodated in Anima from 12th November to 27th November. Ruby was one dog under our S.P. Program that was adopted. Accommodation  is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members. For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees in case of a...

Anima-Rescue and Return (SPP1811-Sai B)!

<12-11-2016> SPP1811-Sai B (M), with an estimated age of six years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, in a site of Coloane, on 12th November 2016, after a call from Mrs. Peng reporting that a dog refused to eat for few days and his spirit was not good as well. Sai B was checked by our vet and has tick fever. He was returned to his former place after medication was prescribed. Peng is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Mrs. Peng!
