Anima-June Adoption (2352-Coolio)!

<01-06-2021> Coolio was adopted today by Mr. Quinn! 2352-Coolio (M), around two years and five months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 11th March 2021, after one of our staff members reported that a light-yellow dog entered in our carpark. Later, the dog jumped into our garden in Cats’ Paradise, staying between the fences and wooden boards alone. A worker claiming to be the responsible of 2352-Coolio, tried to take him away. However, he could not prove his identity and left. 2352-Coolio had not microchip, he is quite friendly and was welcome to Anima. Today, he found a forever family. Anima–May Rescue (SPP1512, SPP1659)!

<28-05-2021> SPP1512-Soda Biscuit (F), around seven years old and SPP1659-Cow (M), around six years old, were rescued by Anima from IAM on 28th May 2021, as their owner cannot take care of them anymore. Anima–May Rescue (SPP1902-Farley)!

<28-05-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, under Mr. Alex’s responsibility. Today, it was reported to Anima that Farley is not eating, and he is getting skinny. SPP1902-Farley was diagnosed with a bacterial infection (Ehrlichia canis). Anima–May Sad News (H044-Kiwi)!

<25-05-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. She has been hospitalized in a vet clinic with a mouth abscess, for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. <17-05-2021> C2583-Vista (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th May 2021, following a call from Mr. Lei reporting that there was a cat staying outside of BNU of Fai Chi Kei for a few days and it seems to having difficulty on breathing. C2481-Voda (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2021, following a call from Mr. Bosco reporting that a stray female cat that he usually feed in Travessa dos Anjos was pregnant. Anima–May Sad News (C2557-Miya)!

<21-05-2021> Four female cats, C2557-Miya (F), C2558-Miriam (F), C2559-Yolanda (F) and C2560-Stacy (F), all around two years old, plus three male cats, C2561-Freddy (M) and C2562-Geoffrey (M), both around one year old and C2563-Ziggy (M) with two years old, were rescued by Anima on 25th March 2021, after a call from an I.A.M. staff reporting that there was no space for more street cats. They were all welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM, usually cooperate in these situations to save as more animals as possible. Recently, C2557-Miya had been suffering from several health issues like kidney failure and pancreatitis. She had been hospitalized for treatment, but unfortunately, she passed away today.
