Anima–July Sad News (C2594-Romeo)!

<13-07-2021> C2594-Romeo (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th July 2021, after received a call from Ms. Santos reporting that she saw a cat, C2594-Romeo lying on the road at Beco do Tabaco and he was unable to move. She placed C2594-Romeo inside a carton box and asked us to help. C2594-Romeo was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood Test was done, and results revealed that he has an acute renal failure. According to the vet, there are many causes of it in dogs and cats, including bacterial or viral infection, toxins or poisons, cancer, crystal, or stone formation within the kidneys. C2594-Romeo also has a poor prognosis. Hospitalization with intensive fluid therapy is required, so. He will be hospitalized in the clinic under medical care. Thanks, Ms. Santos! R.I.P. our friend! Anima-July Adoption (C2579, C2580)!

<13-07-2021> Justin and Miley were adopted today by Mr. Fong! C2579-Justin (M) and C2580-Miley (M), around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 4th May 2021, after a call from Ms. Carrie referring that she found two kittens inside a paper box in Bloc. Funcionários on R. da Restauração on the day before. Ms. Carrie took Justin and Miley to a clinic and later, she left them in our Cats’ Paradise. Both were temporarily in a foster family with our member, Mr. Roberto. Today, they found a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Mr. Fong! Please Adopt and never Buy! <11-07-2021> Today, we were visited by 41 people, of which 13 was an organized group from Mr. U Kuon who came to our Cats’ Paradise to interact with our four-legged companions and learn a bit more about Anima’s work in general. Anima–July Sad News (C1386-Tebbie)!

<09-07-2021> C1386-Tebbie (M), with an estimated age of four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 18th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away few days ago and left three cats, which no one could take care. There is a gap from the door of the flat from which the cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap and Tebbie was caught. Tebbie was welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, got sick and went to a clinic. Despite all medical efforts, he did not survive and his body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–July Sad News (C2503-Peewee)!

<07-07-2021> Our female cat, C2481-Voda gave birth to four kittens: C2503-Peewee, C2504-Munchkin, C2505-Nugget and C2506-Squirt, on 6th February 2021. C2503-Peewee was diagnosed with pneumonia on 25th March 2021 and had been hospitalized in a clinic for treatment. She got better and returned to Cats’ Paradise, but unfortunately symptoms reemerged and C2503-Peewee passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (H032 and H042)!

<07-07-2021> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 30th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. All of them have been in our Dogs’ Shelter and recently, both H032-Cherry and H042-Durian got sick with an abcess. They went to a clinic and after several consultations and treament of the next days, H042-Durian passed away in Anima, and H032-Cherry in a clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
