Anima–June Sad News (C2173-Micah)!

<22-06-2021> C2173-Micah (F), one of our cats from Cats’ Paradise, was found with sick and getting skinny in these last days. Yesterday, Micah had urinary incontinence and fell. She has been under treatment due to various issues including pancreatitis and recurring URI, with heavy nasal discharge. Even after a clinic consultation, where Micah was also diagnosed with abdominal ascites, there is not much that could be done to help her, except easy the pain. Unfortunately, and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Her body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (1564-Laurel)!

<21-06-2021> 1564-Laurel (F), one of our old dogs, was found with ascites. She made a blood test and later an X-ray plus an ultrasound where it was visible two masses in her body. Intravenous fluids were needed as she suffers from renal disease. Laurel was under treatment, but unfortunately and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-June Rescue (C2588-Novia)!

<21-06-2021> C2588-Novia (F), around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, after a call from Mr. Mourão reporting that there was a kitten C2588-Novia, wandering alone outside the main entrance of Venetian Hotel. He asked us help. Rescue team picked up the kitten. C2588-Novia is now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks for your effort, Mr. Mourão! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-June Rescue (C2586, C2587)!

<21-06-2021> C2586-Lala (F), around one year old and C2587-Poe (F), around two years old, both were rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, from Macau Kennel as they have no more space for cats now. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after received rabies vaccination. According with some situations, Anima cooperates with IAM to rescue more animals in danger. Thanks, IAM! Anima-June Adoption (C2566-Luca)!

<21-06-2021> Luca was adopted today by Mr. Pang! C2565-Sofia, C2566-Luca and C2567-Antonio were born in Anima, from our cat C2528-Olive. Olive was rescued by Anima on 25th February 2021, following a Facebook message reporting that a friendly cat had been wandering near Patio do Gil. Our rescue team was mobilized, Olive was rescued and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, C2566-Luca founds a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Mr. Pang! Anima-June Adoption (C2428-Rego)!

<18-06-2021> Rego was adopted today by Mr. Ng! C2428-Rego (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th November 2020, after one of our members, Ms. Mandy, found a very friendly and clean cat with part of ear trimmed near a Bus Stop (Edf. Sunny View Garden) on a very busy road Avenida do Coronel Mesquita with many cars and pedestrians. Apart from an incense store nearby was open, the remaining shops were closed. The cat was brought to our Cats’ Paradise to check. Anima informed I.A.M. about C2428-Rego’s microchip number. According to I.A.M., the cat was adopted from Macau Kennel in August this year. The owner of the cat will be contacted and I.A.M. will take their own measures to proceed the case. Anima cooperates with I.A.M. to save as more animals as possible and keeping their welfare. Anima-New SPP dogs (SPP2373, SPP2374, SPP2375)!

<18-06-2021> SPP2373-Aerobic (M), around two years old, SPP2374-Queen (F) around three years old and SPP2375-MoMo (F), around two years old, are now registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP). All are under Mr. Ng's responsibility in a Ka-Ho Car Shop, after we received a call from Mr. Ng himself reporting that SPP2373-Aerobic have a wound on his head and today started having nosebleed. It is suspected that some one hit the dog on the head. Anima will bring Aerobic to a clinic where they can provide medical care and later a spay surgery. Thanks for your support, Mr. Ng! C2582-Kuma (M), around one year old back then, was rescued by Anima on 24th May 2021, following a call from Ms. Sou reporting that she has been feeding a cat in Taipa Central Park since January, but recently the security did not allow them to feed anymore. Anima–June Sad News (447-Iris)!

<15-06-2021> 447-Iris, one of our oldest dogs, has been living in our Dogs’ Shelter for a few years. Recently, she was coughing several times. After X-Ray exams and blood test results, she was initially diagnosed with heart murmur and pericardial effusions. However, after more medical exams and according with a vet, she has a tumor. 447-Iris have been hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Adoption (C2528-Olive)!

<14-06-2021> Olive was adopted today, by Ms. Kuan! C2528-Olive (F), around six months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 25th February 2021, after a message on Facebook from Mr. Tiago asking if we could collect her as the kitten was very friendly and easy to approach. Mr. Tiago thought that Olive might had an owner, and she was lost. Our rescue team passed by the area. Olive was found inside of a shop to whom it was asked if she belongs there. Both, the shop staff and the owner, said that Olive is a stray cat that would sometimes come in, either to get food or attention. Rescue team collected C2528-Olive and she was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Today, C2528-Olive finally found the love of a new family! Thanks Ms. Kuan, for choosing to adopt her!
