Anima–April Sad News (C214-BiBi)!

<30-04-2021> C214-BiBi (F), previously adopted by Mr. Albano, was sent to a clinic on 27th April 2021, after a call from himself reporting that she was not eating. Multiple exams were made, and results showed acute kidney failure and Hyperkalemia (High Blood Potassium). According to the doctor, she might die without treatment. C214-BiBi was hospitalized in the clinic, under fluids and injections. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive and her body will be delivered in IAM for cremation. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2577-Ion)!

<28-04-2021> C2577-Ion (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2021, after a call from a person reporting that he found a cat bleeding from her mouth, all wet, sitting up and not moving on Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Our president, Ms. Zoe, went to site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. C2577-Ion has severe oral problem, and she have been bleeding for a while. X-ray scan showed no fractures. Blood test results showed also that she has renal failure. She was hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Despite all medical efforts, C2577-Ion passed away today! R.I.P. our friend! Anima–April Sad News (C2575-Kiki)!

<27-04-2021> C2575-Kiki (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 20th April 2021, after a call from Ms. Lu reporting that she found a very weak cat lying next to the bus stop on Rua do Campo. Rescue team went to the site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. Kiki was full of eyes discharge and not very active. According to the vet, she has a lot of fleas and malnutrition. Blood test results showed severe anemia and she has renal failure. C2575-Kiki have been hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive and her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Rescue April (2358-Ziggy)!

<26-04-2021> 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after receiving a call on 23rd March from Mr. Ao Yeong reporting that in Edf. Ip Heng, block 5 on the 14th Floor, a neighbor left a dog in the corridor for a few days without anybody knowing. 2355-Wong Chai’s sibling, 2358-Ziggy (M) was also collected by IAM and had been staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine. Today, 2358-Ziggy (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima from the kennel and he is now welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Thanks, IAM! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima-April Rescue (2361, 2362)!

<23-04-2021> 2361-On On (M) and his sibling, 2362-Lok Lok III (M), around one and a half year old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2021, after a call from an individual volunteer, Ms. Chan, regarding that she is taking care of 2361-On On and 2362-Lok Lok III in the Gas Station at T. de Combustíveis do Parque de Ka-Ho, one year ago. 2362-Lok Lok had a car accident in February and his back hind leg was fractured. He received a surgery in a clinic and returned to his place. According to the vet, Lok Lok III will need time to recover. In this situation, he will not be able to live in his former area (Gas Station) anymore. Both, 2361-On On and 2362-Lok Lok III were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Never Abandon your pets! <22-04-2021> C2576-Bellamy (F), around one and a half month old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2021, after a call from Ms. Chou reporting that she found a very weak kitten, C2576-Bellamy, lying in the middle of the street in Avenida 1 de Maio. <21-04-2021> Twinkle was adopted by Mr. Ho today! C2467-Twinkle (F), around seven months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 30th December 2020, after a call from Ms. Pang referring that she has been feeding two stray kittens around four months old at her building Edf. Kam Heng and she is concerned about cold weather from winter. She asked us help. Anima set up a trap, and Twinkle was caught inside. C2467-Twinkle was welcome to our Cat’s Paradise.
