Anima-June New SPP Cat (SPPC2593-Isabel II)!

<29-06-2021> SPPC2593-Isabel II (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 29th June 2021, through Ms. Carla’s help reporting that she found a new cat that was skinny and limping in the Patio where she works on Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. She asked us help. A cat trap was lent, and SPPC2593-Isabel II was collected to go to a clinic. X-ray exams showed a left leg fracture. SPPC2593-Isabel II stays in the clinic for further procedures. Anima–June Abandonment (C956-Meijo)!

<28-06-2021> C956-Meijo was rescued by Anima on 27th May 2015 after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens with their mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemitério. Meijo was adopted on 14th January 2016. Recently, her family got personal issues to solve. They needed to go back to their country and cannot effort the transportation of Meijo with them. When these types of situations appeared in life there are many other solutions to solve the problem. Feel free to contact animal associations or IAM for further information. Thank you! Anima-June Rescue (C2589-Mollie)!

<24-06-2021> C2589-Mollie (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 24th June 2021, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that two cats were official abandoned by their owner who was admitted into a senior home half year ago. The cats have been wandering in the streets back then, where some neighbors and Ms. Wong started to feed them since April. Recently the cats have entered in an abandon building and could not come out. Ms. Wong asked us to help. Our Rescue team arrive to lend the cat trap and the lady showed the area where only a ginger female cat was living in. As the cat seems to have given birth to a litter recently, our rescue team informed Ms. Wong that we could not collect her yet, until the kittens can survive on their own. Anima–June Sad News (C2173-Micah)!

<22-06-2021> C2173-Micah (F), one of our cats from Cats’ Paradise, was found with sick and getting skinny in these last days. Yesterday, Micah had urinary incontinence and fell. She has been under treatment due to various issues including pancreatitis and recurring URI, with heavy nasal discharge. Even after a clinic consultation, where Micah was also diagnosed with abdominal ascites, there is not much that could be done to help her, except easy the pain. Unfortunately, and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Her body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (1564-Laurel)!

<21-06-2021> 1564-Laurel (F), one of our old dogs, was found with ascites. She made a blood test and later an X-ray plus an ultrasound where it was visible two masses in her body. Intravenous fluids were needed as she suffers from renal disease. Laurel was under treatment, but unfortunately and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <21-06-2021> C2588-Novia (F), around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st June 2021, after a call from Mr. Mourão reporting that there was a kitten C2588-Novia, wandering alone outside the main entrance of Venetian Hotel. Anima-June Adoption (C2566-Luca)!

<21-06-2021> Luca was adopted today by Mr. Pang! C2565-Sofia, C2566-Luca and C2567-Antonio were born in Anima, from our cat C2528-Olive. Olive was rescued by Anima on 25th February 2021, following a Facebook message reporting that a friendly cat had been wandering near Patio do Gil. Our rescue team was mobilized, Olive was rescued and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, C2566-Luca founds a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Mr. Pang! Anima-June Adoption (C2428-Rego)!

<18-06-2021> Rego was adopted today by Mr. Ng! C2428-Rego (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th November 2020, after one of our members, Ms. Mandy, found a very friendly and clean cat with part of ear trimmed near a Bus Stop (Edf. Sunny View Garden) on a very busy road Avenida do Coronel Mesquita with many cars and pedestrians. Apart from an incense store nearby was open, the remaining shops were closed. The cat was brought to our Cats’ Paradise to check. Anima informed I.A.M. about C2428-Rego’s microchip number. According to I.A.M., the cat was adopted from Macau Kennel in August this year. The owner of the cat will be contacted and I.A.M. will take their own measures to proceed the case. Anima cooperates with I.A.M. to save as more animals as possible and keeping their welfare.
