Anima–February Rescue (2342-Sylvia)!

<09-02-2021> 2342-Sylvia (F), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima on 9th February 2021, after a call from Ms. Ruby regarding that an old dog, 2342-Sylvia, used to live in a construction site near Praia Park but the site already finished the work, and no one will take care of her anymore. Workers plan to release 2342-Sylvia near the site, but outside there is a traffic road which is quite dangerous. She asked us help. Last year during Chinese New Year, and because of Covid-19, no worker could come back to the site and 2342-Sylvia was always wandering in the road alone. Anima had several calls regarding this case on that time, but our rescue team failed to catch her as she was difficult to approach. Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (B198-Zora)!

<05-02-2021> A dove, B198-Zora, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Leung informing that she found B198-Zora unable to fly on the pavement near Av. do Infante Dom Henrique. She asked us help. Our rescue team went to the site, but Zora could not survive. The body was collected by Anima to be delivered in IAM. Thank you for the warning call, Ms. Leung! Anima–February Rescue (B196-Riva)!

<05-02-2021> B196-Riva, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Choi informing that she found a dove, B196-Riva, unable to fly on the pavement near Municipal Affairs Bureau. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected Riva and sent her directly to a clinic. According to the vet, her wing is broken and need to be forced feed as well. B196-Riva will be hospitalized in the clinic until full recover. Thank you for the warning call, Ms. Choi! Please help us to help them! <05-02-2021> B197-Vera, a dove, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Hui informing that she found a dove, B197-Vera, unable to fly near Edifício Kam Loi. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected Vera, sending her directly to a clinic. According to the vet, she is weak and need to be forced. Anima–February Rescue (C2499, C2500, C2501, C2502)!

<04-02-2021> C2499-Sage, C2500-Leaf, C2501-Indigo and C2502-Willow, newborns around two days old, were rescued by Anima on 4th February 2020, after a call from Mr. Tong regarding that for two days his working company “CSA Computer Zone” in Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon have been listening crying from a kitten in the ceiling. Today, some of the company staff opened the ceiling and found four kittens, Sage, Leaf, Indigo and Willow. Mr. Tong does not have any experience with animals, special newborns, and he asked us help. Anima set up a trap to catch the mother. The kittens were collected by our rescue team, and they were welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Anima-Macau University Science and Technology helped us!

<03-02-2021> Today, we were visited by 38 people, of which 24 were from Macau University Science and Technology who came as volunteers to our Cats' Paradise. They had the great opportunity to interact with our four-legged companions an even learn how is our daily feeding activities outside of our shelters. An adventure every single day! Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10.495 people, compared with 7.487 visitors in 2019. Anima–February Sad News (H043-Papaya)!

<03-02-2021> H043-Papaya (M), with a few more hamsters, were rescued by Anima on the 30th January 2020, after received a message from Facebook on 27th January, by a twelve years old youngster, Keiji telling that he can’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and they are always fighting. He does not have enough money to buy food for them as well. He asked us to help. We collected them all and they were welcome in our Dog’s Shelter! Anima–January Adoption (C2435-Caleb)!

<29-01-2021> Caleb was adopted by Ms. Pong! C2432-Claire (F), C2433-Camilla (F), C2434-Cooper (M), C2435-Caleb (M) and C2436-Camden (M), all around two and a half months old by the time, were originally found on a cardboard Cashier at the University of Macau, near the playground. Eventually, the kittens were rescued by the I.A.M and Anima agreed to rescue them if they did not find an adopter. The five kittens were welcome to our Cats' Paradise. Today, Caleb found his home! Anima–January Adoption (C2468-Manisha)!

<28-01-2021> Manisha was adopted today by Mr. Cheok! The cats by that time, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats.
