Anima–December Rescue and Sad News (B190-On On)!

<22-12-2020> B190-On On, a dove, was rescued by Anima on 22nd December 2020, after being found by Mr. Wong referring that he saw the dove falling from the sky near Pac On Road. He was sent directly to a clinic, but eventually died. R.I.P. our dear friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (C2456-Harriot)!

<22-12-2020> C2456-Harriot (M), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a skinny cat with both eyes closed was roaming near a warehouse on Ilha Verde. Our rescue team visited the site and rescued Harriot, who, due to the weakened condition, had to be immediately referred to a private clinic. Harriot had severe eye discharge, with ulcer, nasal discharge and was extremely dehydrated. He will be hospitalized for a few days. Thank you for your alert, Mrs. Lame! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (C2448, C2449)!

<18-12-2020> C2448-Sydney (M), around one year old and C2449-Darfu (M), around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 18th December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats. Rescue Team brought C2448-Sydney and C2449-Darfu to Anima already vaccinated and with microchip. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, IAM! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (C2447-Pixel)!

<17-12-2020> C2447-Pixel (M), around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th December 2020, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that she heard a kitten crying inside the drainage in Taipa Grande park. She asked us help. Our Rescue Team caught him through patiently wait outside of the drainage, until he decided to appear to eat our cat food in a can. C2447-Pixel was brought to Anima for consultation and now he is welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Leong! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (C2446-Watkins)!

<15-12-2020> C2446-Watkins (M), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th December 2020, after a call from someone reporting that  a cat, C2446-Watkins, was meowing in the whole morning in the building R. da Ribeira do Patane 52J, Edf. Hou Kuong and suspected that C2446-Watkins was trapped or fell from some place to the ground floor. The person asked our help. Rescue Team arrived the site and found C2446-Watkins on the 1st floor of the building, and he was between the rooftop of the window-cage and the AC box. C2446-Watkins had been there meowing for long time. He is wearing a blue collar and no microchip was found. Rescue Team brought C2446-Watkins to Anima and he is now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–December Adoption (C2445-Bumbo)!

<14-12-2020> Bumbo was adopted today by Ms. Carla! C2445-Bumbo (F), a kitten around eight weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2020, after we received a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was hiding under the bumper of his car at Estrada de Pac On. Our Rescue team was mobilized and, with the help of I.A.M., managed to rescue the kitten. Bumbo seemed healthy and was sent to our Cats’ Paradise where she was checked, defleaed and dewormed. Anima-December Adoption (C2420-Hiro)!

<14-12-2020> Hiro was adopted today by Ms. Carvalho! C2420-Hiro (M), around six weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 27 October 2020, after we received a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she saw a kitten being chased by four dogs and hidden between the rocks on an abandoned site on Rua de Viseu, two days before. Rescue Team went there and found the kitten hidden in a hole on the slope at the site. He was sent to a clinic to check his weak hind legs. According to the vet, X-ray results showed no fracture and Hiro was maybe limping due to a neuron problem. C2420-Hiro was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise with prescribed medication. Anima-Choi Kai Yau College (UM) visited us!

<09-12-2020> Today, we were visited by 29 people, of which 14 were from Choi Kai Yau College of University of Macau who came to our Dogs’ Shelter. Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! Until the beginning of December 2020, we have welcomed 9,600 visitors, compared with 6,828 visitors in the same period last year!
