Anima in Escola B. e S. Henrique Sommer (Portugal)!

<07-11-2023> Anima has visited Escola B. e S. Henrique Sommer from Agrupamento de Escolas da Maceira, in Portugal on 7th November 2023. Our international relationships member, Ms. Mariana Quintanilha, was invited to spread our messages about animals and Nature Conservation. Ideas were shared through an app on the phone, projecting wild animals inside all the classrooms and showing how to help us helping animals in the wild. 47 people attended the event! Our heartfelt thanks to all participants and volunteers for the commitment and support to our mission! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Anima–November Rescue (C2871-Kaidyn)!

<07-11-2023> C2871-Kaidyn (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 7th November 2023, after a call from Mr. Kai reporting that he saw a sick and weak cat on Tv. Dos Ovos. The cat was severely anemic and dehydrated. C2871-Kaidyn is now hospitalized in a vet clinic until recover. Thanks, Mr. Kai for your support with expenses on the vet! Anima–November Sad News (1709-Poca)!

<06-11-2023> 1709-Poca (F), around two years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Wu, informing that 1709-Poca was in the ditch near the Communications Museum. The ditch was too deep for 1709-Poca to jump out of it, so Ms. Wu asked for our help. Our rescue team went to the location to bring 1709-Poca out and collected her to Anima as that area was too dangerous for a dog and we did not know if she has an owner. No microchip was found. She has been living with us! Unfortunately, 1709-Poca was found passed away today due to a Gastric Dilatation Volvulus (GDV). R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–October Adoption (C2633-Beetle)!

<30-10-2023> Beetle was adopted today, by Ms. Peng! C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all around six weeks old back then, were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported that she has found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise! Anima–October Sad News (1487-Spring)!

<27-10-2023> 1487-Spring (F), one of our senior dogs was sent to a clinic as she had a seizure. She was diagnosed with thoracic vertebra IVDD and she needed to be hospitalized. Anima–October Sad News (C2400-Nicky)!

<25-10-2023> C2400-Nicky (F), around three years old, and C2401-Jambo (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 9th October 2020, after a call from I.A.M. (Macau Kennel) reporting that they did not have more space for new rescues. Both cats were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2400-Nicky was sent to a clinic as she was weak with diarrhea. She was diagnosed with kidney and liver health problems. She needed to be hospitalized. Her prognosis was getting worst and besides all medical efforts, C2400-Nicky passed away today. Anima–October Sad News (C1355-Tabasco)!

<25-10-2023> C1355-Tabasco (F), on the time with an estimated age of one year old, together with many other cats, was rescued by Anima on 15th December 2016, after a call from IAM reporting that they did not have enough space for more rescues. The cats were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1355-Tabasco was sent to a clinic. She was diagnosed with an acute renal failure, which could have been caused by poisoning. Anima–October Sad News (C997-Hattie)!

<24-10-2023> C994-Hester, the mother, and her kittens around one month old, C995-Hanna, C996-Huw, C997-Hattie and C998-Harmony were rescued by Anima on 7th June 2015, after a call from Ms. Aivha asking us to help them. The cats were rescued from her house in Estrada do Repouso and they were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C997-Hattie was sent to a clinic due to some unhealthy symptoms. She was diagnosed with a severe pancreatitis, anemia and she needed to stay hospitalized. Her prognosis was getting worst and besides all our efforts, C997-Hattie passed away today. <23-10-2023> C2869-Mochi (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 24th October 2023 from IAM, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that her friend found a white and brown friendly cat with a collar, “Mochi”, on 7th October on Tv.
