Anima–November Sad News (C1531-Joci)!

<12-11-2024> C1529-Jomen (M), C1530-Jono (M) and C1531-Joci (F), all around two years old back then, were rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from IAM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel had no space for other rescues. They all had microchip, were spayed and properly vaccinated. Recently, C1531-Joci was sent to a clinic as she was found weak, bleeding from her mouth and having eyes discharge. Her blood tests resulsts showed an extremely high kidney inflamation and kidney damage caused by poisoning, maybe. She was under treatment, but besides all medical efforts, C1531-Joci passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue (C2986-Watermelon Rind)!

<07-11-2024> C2986-Watermelon Rind (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th November 2024, after a message from Mrs. Mary informing that there was a cat paralysed wandering on the streets of Rua dos Cavaleiros. She asked us help. Our rescue team found C2986-Watermelon Ring crawling between motorbikes. He was immidiately sent to a clinic due to his malnutrition condition. Health exams showed paralysis which it needed to be 72 hours evaluated. Unfortunately, that period has passed and there is no possibility to recover after a surgery. The clinic will help him with acupuncture as best as they can. Thanks, Mrs. Mary! Please, consider more options before abandon any animal in the streets! Anima–November Rescue (2527-Mimi)!

<07-11-2024> 2527-Mimi (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 7th november 2024, after a call from Ms. Isabel asking to help a dog named 2527-Mimi. Mimi was adopted by another organization (Baby Pets Paradise Volunteer Group), from I.A.M, five years ago and had a sponsorship from Ms. Isabel. Today the organization informed Ms. Isabel that Mimi has been refusing to eat for five days already and they need to send her to a clinic for consultation, but Mimi is aggressive and no one can approach her. Ms. Isabel asked us help. Our Rescue Team sent her to a clinic where she was tested positive for Ehrlichia, anaemic, she has severe acute kidney failure, and pancreatitis. According with vets, Mimi might have been poisoned and she needs to stay hospitalized under IV treatment. 2527-Mimi will be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after recover in the clinic! <06-11-2024> 375-Friday (M), one of our senior dogs, has been with health problems like Chushing's Syndrome and an adrenal tumor. He has been under treatment for a while. His prognosis was getting worst and besides all medical efforts, 375-Friday passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–October Rescue (C2984, C2985)!

<30-10-2024> C2984-Mimi (F), around seven years old and C2985-Pepsi (M), around five years old, were rescued by Anima on 30th October 2024, after a call from Ms. Zeng referring that her ex-neighbor, an old guy named Peter, with cancer and heart problems who lived alone and he had around 20 cats, is not able to take care of them anymore. She asked us help. Anima informed that there is no space for all at a time and we will be working together with AAPAM to help as many animals as possible, step by step. Anima-October Adoption (C2965, C2968)!

<29-10-2024> Yoshi and Donkey Kong were adopted today, by Mr. Lao! Four kittens, C2965-Yoshi, C2966-Kinopio, C2967-Koopa and C2968-Donkey Kong, all around one week old back then, were rescued by Anima on 16th August 2024, after a call from Mr. Ng referring that he found them wet and alone inside a garbage bin. He asked us help. All were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise and fostered by our staff to help on milk feeding. C2965-Yoshi and C2968-Donkey Kong found the love of a family, today! Anima-October Adoption (C2975-Kelsey)!

<28-10-2024> Kelsey was adopted today, by Ms. Lam! The kitten C2975-Kelsey (F), around one month and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 25th September 2024, after a Facebook message from Ms. Un, referring that a kitten was abandoned outside their company on 3rd floor, in Centro Industrial Keck Seng, last night. Kelsey was really weak and she needed blood transfusion to survive. Anima helped and Kelsey was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after recover. C2975-Kelsey found the love of a family, today! Anima–October Sad News (C2983-Tatianna)!

<24-10-2024> The kitten, C2983-Tatianna (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd October, 2024, after received an email from Mr. Bernard Ng reporting that a kitten seems to be very sick in Travessa Um de Maio. He asked us help. Our Rescue team arrived and saw a lady and a security guard from Labor Department holding the kitten. Anima informed them that we will send the kitten to a clinic as she was sick. Unfortunately, she was severe dehydrated with eyes’ inflammation and hypothermia. C2983-Tatianna passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
