Anima–August Sad News (397-Sleepy)!

<10-08-2023> 397-Sleepy (M), is one of our senior dogs with a chronic pancreatitis. Recently, he was hospitalized in a clinic, as he vomited, he was in pain and with difficult breathing. A surgery was performed immediately and Sleepy’s spleen was removed due to a tumor. Blood test done after surgery showed anemia and inflammation. He was still hospitalized for treatment, although prognosis was bad also due to advanced age. Besides all medical efforts, 397-Sleepy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Adoption (C2753-Kellie)!

<09-08-2023> C2753-Kellie was adopted today, by Ms. Carla! A mother cat, C2753-Kellie (F), around two years old, together with her two kittens C2754-Keira (F) and C2755-Kaitlyn (F), both around one and a half months old, were rescued by Anima on 13th September 2022, after Anima has been informed by Mr. Yeung that a mother cat with two kittens were frequently resting on his balcony. He had asked Macau Kennel to pick them up, but IAM was full. Our rescue team brought them to be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Fortunately, C2753-Kellie found the love of a new family, today! Anima–August Sad News (C2154-Gunner)!

<03-08-2023> C2154-Gunner (M), one of our senior cats, was rescued by Anima on the 5th July 2019, after a call from IAM, regarding no space. He was welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C2154-Gunner has been hospitalized in a clinic with kidney problems. Besides all medical and Anima’s care, his health condition got worst day by day. Anima–August Sad News (SPP2504-Foxy)!

<02-08-2023> SPP2504-Foxy (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd August 2023, after a call from a call from Mr. Vemon asking for help as he found a very sick small stray dog in Hac Sa boat area. Our Rescue Team sent Foxy to a clinic immediately. Prognosis was Canine Distemper and SPP2504-Foxy was in a critical stage already. Besides all medical and Anima’s effort to keep him alive, SPP2504-Foxy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Rescue (C2839-Kennedy)!

<02-08-2023> C2839-Kennedy (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd August 2023, after a lady reported that she found an injured and paralyzed cat between Rua de Sanches de Mirando and Rua de Eduardo Marques. He was sent to a vet clinic. According to the vet, he has fractures in different places, suspecting that Kennedy fell from high places or he was hit by cars, paralyzing him. Anima–July Rescue (C2838-Baggie)!

<28-07-2023> C2838-Baggie (M), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 28th July 2023, after one of our staff, Mr. Danilo, reporting that there was a large plastic bag outside of our Dogs’ Shelter with a cat, C2838-Baggie, inside. Apparently, the cat was abandoned on the street. As C2838-Baggie was sent to a clinic immediately. According with the vet, he was dehydrated, he has kidney failure, heart disease, and a respiratory infection He will stay in the hospital.
