Anima–August Adoption (C2705-Missy)!

<16-08-2022> Missy was adopted by Mr. Poon on 16th August 2022! C2705-Missy (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2022, after received call from Mr. Lao referring that his friend gave him a cat, C2705-Missy, as his friend does not want the cat anymore. At the beginning, Mr. Lao though that Missy would be a companion, but later realized that he needs help to take care of her. He asked us help. C2705-Missy was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Fortunately, C2705-Missy has been with us and she was adopted today. Thanks Mr. Poon for choosing to adopt! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Rescue (C2739-Ripley)!

<16-08-2022> C2739-Ripley (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th August 2022, after a message on Facebook from Mr. Sou asking if we could help a pregnant cat in Rua de St. Jose, Edf. San Chi. The cat has no owner as she stays in the hall way and seems many people feed her regularly. Our Rescue team got more information about Ripley, and it is not the cat’s first pregnancy. She was pregnant before and the kittens either were taken by people or passed away due to sickness. Rescue team manage to catch her, and Ripley was sent to a clinic. According to the vet, the pregnancy is around six weeks. C2739-Ripley will stay under quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Sou! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2738-Kit)!

<16-08-2022> A kitten, C2738-Kit (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 16th august 2022, after a call from Ms. Sam referring that a kitten, Kit, seems to have a bite wound on the neck and a man throw her in a dumpster in Rua Dois da Cidade Nova de T’oi San. She asked us help. Today, our rescue team collected the kitten and sent him to a clinic for checking the wound. After consultation, it is visible that there are two small bite holes. X-ray showed that the head have a small crack on the skull, too. According to the vet, Kit will be fine with a simple treatment during quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Sam! Anima–August Sad News (531-Hac Sa)!

<15-08-2022> 531-Hac-Sa (M), one of our senior dogs, got sick recently. He was found not very active, with no appetite and getting worse. This morning he refused to eat and vomited some yellowish fluids. 531-Hac-Sa was imediately sent to a clinic. Unfortunately, Anima was later informed that he passed away in the clinic. 531-Hac-Sa had a serious heart disease and, together with an advanced age not much could be done. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–August Rescue (SPP1476-Orson)!

<09-08-2022> SPP1476-Orson (M), with seven years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) at Hac Sa beach in Coloane, with people and Anima employees responsible for him. Recently, someone noticed that Orson was not eating and was losing weight. Orson was sent to a veterinary clinic where a not identified object was seen in his stomach. He was hospitalized to check the stomach contents. If no bodies were detected, a swelling of the spleen due to a tumor was suspected. After diagnosis, the foreign body in the stomach was excreted. The vet tested him for parasitic blood diseases and he is positive for Elrlichia. SPP1476-Orson will stay at the clinic until recover. Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (C2737-Chivas)!

<04-08-2022> C2737-Chivas (M), around one month and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 4th August 2022, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that she rescued a kitten, C2737-Chivas, which was wandering between motorcycles near Rua do Tarrafeiro last night. She asks us help. Ms. Kuok brought him in the afternoon to our Cat’s Paradise. C2737-Chivas is healthy and staying with us under quarantine. Thanks, Ms. Kuok! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Rescue (2460, 2461)!

<03-08-2022> 2460-Cupid (F) and the sibling, 2461-Cypress (M), both around three months old, are now under our SPP program and they were rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2022, from Marble Factory Area. They are under the responsibility of Mr. Fai in their place. 2460-Cupid was sent to the clinic due to a lump on the chest. Cypress was very dirty, and he had to take a shower. Anima–July Sad News (153-YY)!

<29-07-2022> 153-YY (F), one of our senior dogs, got sick recently. She was found not very active, with a hard breathing and fever. In a vet, 153-YY was diagnosed with a tumor in her heart. Treatments were started. Unfortunately, she passed away today with a heart failure. Her body will be later delivered in IAM. Anima will miss her smile and companionship. Please help us to help them! Anima–July Rescue (C2730, C2731)!

<22-07-2022> C2730-Carbonel (M), around five years old and C2731-Cleo (F), around 10 years old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2022, from IAM as they have no space. C2730-Carbonel received his microchip, vaccination and rabies vaccine on 15th June 2022. C2731-Cleo received her microchip, vaccination and rabies vaccine on 29th June 2022.
