Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C2721-Blake)!

<01-07-2022> C2721-Blake (M), around four and a half years old, was rescued after a call from Mrs. Lo reporting that a sick cat was found in Rua Kun Iam Tong. She asked us for help. Anima lent a carrier for her to handle the cat until arrive to a vet clinic in Macau. According to one vet, Blake was anemic, he had jaundice and needed to stay under veterinary supervision in the clinic. Medical exams tested positive for Feline Coronavirus, which could develop for FIP. After all medical efforts, the clinic reported us this morning that C2721-Blake passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–July Rescue (C2723-Chip)!

<01-07-2022> C2723-Chip (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st July 2022, after a call from Ms. Cheng asking for help as she saw a neck injured cat in Rua da Tercena. Rescue team tried to use the cat trap with no success. Today, Ms. Cheong informed us that C2723-Chip ran into a shop and notice a large wound on the neck. He was sent to a clinic for treatment and examination. C2723-Chip will stay in the clinic until recover. Thanks, Ms. Cheng! Please help us to help them! <01-07-2022> SPP2453-Grace (F), around six months old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) today. She is under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in Estrada de Cheok Van. Anima is going to support a spay surgery for SPP2453-Grace (F) to prevent pregnancy. SPP2453-Grace (F) was sent to a clinic for a spay surgery today. Anima-June Return (R056-Mun Mun)!

<30-06-2022> R055-Sun Sun (M) and R056-Mun Mun (M), both around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 18th February 2020, after a call from Ms. Moon reporting that she found two rabbits abandoned in Coloane Ka-Ho near Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was worried because there were many dogs and cats there. R055-Sun Sun was unable to walk, but recovered later. R056-Mun Mun was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Later, R056-Mun Mun was adopted by Ms. Cheng. Unfortunately, he needed to come back to our Cats’ Paradise as the owner could not take care of him anymore. R056-Mun Mun was welcomed back to our shelter and he is now looking for a new and definitive home. Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima–June Sad News (1758-Batman)!

<29-06-2022> 1758-Batman (M), a black adult dog was abandoned on 3rd July 2016. Under heavy rain he might got scared and escaped from his place. He was found near Anima, in the road Altinho de Ka-Ho which is a very dangerous road. He spent time near the cars around the water reservoir. Our rescue team slowly got his confidence and rescued him. 1758-Batman is living in Anima since that day! Today, our staff found him passed away, due to a cardiac arrest. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–June Sad News (C1348-Mini)!

<17-06-2022> C1348-Mini (M), with an estimated age of three months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 3rd December 2016, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was found falling down from the terrace in Rua de Camilo Pessanha. Mini was sent to a clinic for further examination and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after recover. Recently, C1348-Mini got skinny and sick. Blood test results showed a liver failure. During treatments in a clinic, she passed away. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima-Melco Resorts and Entertainment helped us!

<17-06-2022> Today, we were visited by 15 people, of which 10 were from Melco Resorts and Entertainment. This group gave us a precious help volunteering at our Cats’ Paradise. Our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers for the commitment and support to our cause! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2021, we were visited by 10,589 people, compared with 10,495 visitors in 2020.
