Anima-December Adoption (C2635-Aero)!

<30-12-2021> Aero was adopted today by Mr. Nuno! C2635-Aero (M), around two months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 28th September 2021, after being reported by our staff that there was a small kitten walking on the net on the top of our Cats’ Paradise. The kitten was wandering between our building and Free Area backyard trying to climb to the Escola Superior das Forças de Segurança de Macau next door, but failed. He was later caught by us and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Aero found the love of a new family! Thank you so much, Mr. Nuno, for choosing to adopt! Please adopt and don't buy! Anima-December Adoption (C1829-Lars)!

<29-12-2021> Lars was adopted today by Ms. Sou! C1826-Lassie (F), C1827-Lenni (M), C1828-Leinani (F) and C1829-Lars (M), all around eight months old back then, were rescued by Anima on 22nd January 2018, after a call from Mr. Yung reporting that he used to feed the stray cats in a building but there were some cats dying from poisoning. Mr. Yung asked our help. They were all welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Lars found the love of a new family! Thank you so much, Ms. Sou, for choosing to adopt! Please adopt and don't buy! Anima-Escola de Aplicação Anexa à Univ. Macau helped us!

<28-12-2021> Today, we were visited by 30 persons, of which 24 were volunteers from Escola de Aplicação Anexa à Universidade de Macau. This group gave us a precious help volunteering at our Cats’ Paradise. Our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers for the commitment and support to our cause! Education and kindeness are key issues for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10,495 people, compared with 7,487 visitors in 2019. Anima–December Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<28-12-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old back then, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, and now he is under Mr. Leong’s responsibility in Coloane Water Treatment Company. Recently, Anima received a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1902-Farley was hit by a car. He asked our help. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic through our rescue team. X-ray result showed a fracture. His right back hip joint already had a problem since long time ago. According to the vet, a surgery would have some risks and he would never have a fully recover from it. SPP1902-Farley was staying inside a cage for two months treatment, to limit his mobility and recheck after that time. The fracture part healed by itself. Anima–December Sad News (C2401-Jambo)!

<28-12-2021> C2400-Nicky (F), around three years old, (F) and C2401-Jambo (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 9th October 2020, after a call from I.A.M. (Macau Kennel) reporting that they have no more space for cats back then. Both cats were vaccinated, sterilized, and microchipped through IAM. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2401-Jambo was found lethargic and dehydrated, low body temperature, and not eating. He was given fluids and sent to a clinic for consultation. Later, we were informed by the clinic that C2401-Jambo was passed away. According to blood test results, C2401-Jambo had several kidney problems already. His body will be delivered in IAM. Anima-December Rescue and Adoption (2423-Kant)!

<28-12-2021> Kant was adopted today by Ms. Vong! 2423-Kant (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 28th December 2021, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space to receive more dogs. Rescue team went to IAM to pick up him after all vaccinations and deworm done. 2423-Kant was welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima and IAM, usually cooperate to save more animals in danger. Anima–December Rescue (C2682, C2683, C2684, C2685, C2686)!

<27-12-2021> A mother cat, C2682-Lisa (F), around two and a half years old, together with her four kittens, C2683-Lailah (F), C2684-Leanna (F), C2685-Loki (M) and C2686-Lester (M), all around three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th December 2021. A couple days ago, we were asked for assistance, requested from Ms. Cheong reporting that her father had been feeding a cat on Edf. Industrial Kin Ip 8/F, where he works. However, he’s retiring and no one can continue to feed the cat anymore. All cats, Lisa and her kittens, were found at the same place and welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Cheong! Anima-December Adoption (C2597-Star)!

<24-12-2021> Star was adopted today by Ms. Miu! C2597-Star (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th July 2021, after received a call from Mr. Tang referring that he saw a very skinny kitten with eyes closed yesterday evening around 6:30p.m., inside his building. After two hours the kitten was still there, so. Mr. Tang took the kitten inside a card paper box in front of his flat, but he cannot take care of the kitten. He asked us help. Our rescue team sent him directly to a clinic for treatment. In a very bad shape and health conditions, C2597-Star was hospitalized to stay under medical care and later he was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Star found the love of a new family! Anima–December Sad News (C2681-Bambi)!

<24-12-2021> C2681-Bambi (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima today in the afternoon, after received a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a cat, C2681-Bambi, was found in his working area, a construction site at Rua Da Madeira this morning. According to Mr. Ng, C2681-Bambi was paralyzed and unable to move when he found him. He asked us to help. C2681-Bambi was sent to clinic for consultation. Later, we were informed by the clinic that C2681-Bambi was passed away. According to the vet, C2681-Bambi had a puncture wound on the belly and the wound was very deep, causing internal bleeding as the bladder might be ruptured. His body will be delivered in IAM.
