Anima–October Rescue (C2640-Compass)!

<15-10-2021> A newborn kitten was rescued by Anima! C2640-Compass (F), around one day old, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2021, after a call from Mrs. Lo reporting that a newborn kitten, C2640-Compass, was found in Rua Kun Iam Tong and seemingly abandoned by the mother. She asked us to help. C2640-Compass was fostered by our president, Ms. Zoe, temporarily for milk feeding and healthcare. Thanks, Mrs. Lo! Please help us to help them! Anima-October Sad News (C1235-Coal)!

<15-10-2021> C1235-Coal (M), around two years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she used to feed four cats in a temple, but the monks and nuns are not friendly to the cats, they were also not allowed to let her to feed them. One of the cats was pregnant and we lent a trap for Ms. Chan to catch them. C1235-Coal was caught and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-October Adoption (C2628-Diablo)!

<15-10-2021> Diablo was adopted today by Mr. Long! C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all around six weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima–October Rescue (C2642, C2643)!

<15-10-2021> C2642-Kiwi (M), around four years old, and C2643-Jess (F), around one and a half years old, were rescued by Anima on 15th October 2021, after a call from IAM regarding no more space for cats. Kiwi and Jess were vaccinated, and they had microchip from IAM. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM cooperate in many of these situations to help as many animals as possible. Anima-October Adoption (C2609-Venus)!

<14-10-2021> Venus was adopted today by Ms. Sum! C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna, all newborns, were rescued by Anima on 15th August 2021, after a box with five kittens be left at our entrance this and were found by one of our staff when he came to work in the early morning. They were immediately cleaned and warmed with towels. C2608-Aurora, C2609-Venus, C2610-Valcan, C2611-Juno and C2612-Fortuna were sent to a vet clinic for treatment and care, while Anima was trying to find who was the irresponsible person. This case was reported to IAM and PSP to help us. Hope there is no next time, and the person can become aware of the consequences, changing this attitude into some respect. Anima–October Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<11-10-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old back then, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, and now he is under Mr. Leong’s responsibility in Coloane Water Treatment Company. Recently, Anima received a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1902-Farley was hit by a car. He asked our help. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic through or rescue team. X-ray result shows a fracture in the right back calf. His right back hip joint already had a problem since long time ago. According to the vet, a surgery would have some risks and he would never have a fully recover from it. SPP1902-Farley will now stay inside a cage for two months treatment, to limit his mobility and recheck after that time. The fracture part will heal by itself. A cage was lent to Coloane Water Treatment Company and SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thank you, Mr. Leong! Please...

Anima–October Sad News (C2638-Basia)!

<11-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. C2638-Basia passed away today, in the afternoon. Anima–October Sad News (C1929-Jax)!

<07-10-2021> C1929-Jax (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for cats. He was neutered, vaccinated, and received microchips at IAM, being well received later in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1929-Jax got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, C1929-Jax suffers already from kidney’s failure. Ultrasound results showed their malfunction and there was no possibility for a surgery as he was too weak and could not survive to anesthesia. Despite all our and medical efforts, C1929-Jax passed away peacefully during this afternoon. R.I.P. our old friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! <05-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department.
