Anima-New SPP dogs (from SPP2380 to SPP2388)!

<26-07-2021> Nine dogs were registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP) today: SPP2380-Dong Dong (F), around three years old; SPP2381-Michael (M), around six years old; SPP2382-Runny Nose (M), SPP2383-Lubby (F), SPP2384-Paco (F), SPP2385-Happy (F) and SPP2386-MiMi (F), all around one year old; as well as SPP2387-Billy (M), four years old and SPP2388-Chung Chung (F), 17 years old. We received a call from the owner of the dogs, Mr. Io, seeking our help as he has lost his job in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is struggling to take care of them. Runny Nose, Lubby, Paco Happy, and MiMi were born by the mother Dong Dong and father Michael (F) in June, 2020. These seven are of Cane Corso bread, an intelligent, active, independent breed which demands a certain care, as they can grow up to be 60 Kg. Anima–July Sad News (C2081-Cesar)!

<26-07-2021> Our cat, C2081-Cesar was sent to a clinic for consultation today as he had vomited and seemed to have breathing difficulty this morning. According to the vet, Cesar had bloody abdominal fluid. An ultrasound showed swollen intestinal lymph nodes and it was suspected that Cesar has an intestinal tumour. Cesar's prognosis was not good and started to be under medical treatment. However, he couldn’t resist and passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <21-07-2021> Today, we were visited by 39 people, of which one was a representative from Yuet Wah Wewa Volunteer Corps on a visit to our Cats' Paradise The group donated MOP7185 to Anima, raised on their event 毛孩同樂日 held on 09-11/06/2021. Anima–July Sad News (SPP2377-Kururu)!

<20-07-2021> SPP2377-Kururu (M), a dog around two years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 27th June 2021. He is living under Mr. Cheong’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Workshop. Kururu suffers from severe conjunctivitis, and he was sent to a clinic by our team. Recently, SPP2377-Kururu have been hospitalized due to the swelling of his eyes. According to the vet, it might be cancer, but he is too weak for chemotherapy. Unfortunately, despite all medical discussions and our efforts to keep him alive, SPP2377-Kururu passed away. His body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-July Adoption (C2545-Jesse)!

<20-07-2021> Jesse was adopted today by Ms. Lam! C2545-Jesse (M), around three years and five months old, was rescued by Anima on 11th March 2021, after received a call from Ms. Lei asking for help as she found a sick kitten, crying a lot on the street in Coloane Village near the Government Health’s Center. Our rescue team went to the place where they found the kitten hiding under a flat staircase which had a net to prevent people from going in, but the kitten was small enough to enter and exit. C2545-Jesse was rescued and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Today, he found a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Ms. Lam! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–July Rescue (C2597-Star)!

<19-07-2021> C2597-Star (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th July 2021, after received a call from Mr. Tang referring that he saw a very skinny kitten with eyes closed yesterday evening around 6:30p.m., inside his building. After two hours the kitten was still there, so. Mr. Tang took the kitten inside a card paper box in front of his flat, but he cannot take care of the kitten. He asked us help. Our rescue team sent him directly to a clinic for treatment. In a very bad shape and health conditions, C2597-Star was hospitalized to stay under medical care. Thanks, Mr. Tang! <18-07-2021> C2596-Winko (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 18th July 2021, after being observed walking around and alone near our Cats’ Paradise. A cat trap was set and C2596-Winko was caught. Tomorrow he will go to a clinic to check his health condition. Please help us to help them! The amount was given for the purchase of defleas and deworm products to our animals. All products arrived at our Cats’ Paradise!
