Anima–July Sad News (H032 and H042)!

<07-07-2021> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 30th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. All of them have been in our Dogs’ Shelter and recently, both H032-Cherry and H042-Durian got sick with an abcess. They went to a clinic and after several consultations and treament of the next days, H042-Durian passed away in Anima, and H032-Cherry in a clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (H050-Banana)!

<06-07-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 28th January 2020, from a youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together because he had no space to take care of them. H046-Coconut (F), H047-Grapes (F), H048-Morango (M), H049-Lime (M) and H050-Banana (M), born from H044-Kiwi on 4th February 2020. All of them have been in our Dogs’ Shelter. Today, H050-Banana passed away peacefully from old age. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (C2429-Pauline)!

<06-07-2021> C2429-Pauline (F), a cat around four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2020, after a call from Mr. Cao reporting to have found a very weak and skinny cat on Pátio da Eterna Felicidade. An owner of a shop nearby claimed to have been feeding the cat for a few months but insisted that the cat was stray and did not plan to take her to a clinic for consultation. With the help of two volunteers, we managed to rescue Pauline and she was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2429-Pauline got sick and she was sent to a clinic, but unfortunately she was very weak and today, the clinic informed that Pauline passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-Donation from ITSAA (old IFT)!

<05-07-2021> Today, Anima received a generous donation from Institute for Tourism Studies Alumni Association in our Dogs’ Shelter. The IFT Alumni Annual Dinner 2021 was successfully held on 30th April 2021 at the Macau Oasis, Galaxy Hotel. This event was hosted by IFT Alumni Association and organized by Macao Institute for Tourism Studies and year 2A students of Tourism Event Management. All proceeds of the event (in total MOP 32,724.52) were donated to ANIMA, to provide financial support for homeless animals. Kind regards to all of you! Anima-July Adoption (C2541-Wallis)!

<05-07-2021> Wallis was adopted today by Ms. Leong! C2541-Wallis (F), around one year and five months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2021, after receiving a call from Ms. Zoe reporting that she found a sick kitten, C2541-Wallis, in Rua de Kun Iam. She asked us help. C2541-Wallis is used to live in that area, but our rescue team could not find her mother. The kitten was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, she has cat flu and many fleas. C2541-Wallis will stay overnight in the clinic and after recover, she was welcome to Anima. Today, she found a forever family. <04-07-2021> Cube was adopted today, by Ms. Wong! C2581-Cube (F), a kitten around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd May 2021, following a Facebook message from Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Kobe reporting that a kitten was wandering in Venetian’s area. Anima–July Sad News (H061-Guara)!

<03-07-2021> H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around 3 months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that 8 hamsters were found abandoned in the park of Edf. Lok Kuan (Seac Pai Van) in a cage. He asked us to help. H055-Star Fruit, H056-MangoSteen, H057-JuJuBe, H058-Rambutan, H059-Physalis, H060-Sapodilla, H061-Guara, H062-Golden Apple were consulted in Anima. All of them stay in our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima-July Rescue (SPP2373, SPP2374)!

<03-07-2021> Three dogs under our SPP program received assistance from Anima on 19th June 2021. SPP2373-Aerobic (M), SPP2374-Queen (F) and SPP2375-MoMo (F), all between two and three years old, live in a Ka-Ho car shop under Mr. Ng's responsibility. They were registered under our SPP program the day before, when Mr. Ng has asked us for help as Aerobic showed up with a head injury. Queen and MoMo also have health issues and have been losing weight. Our team managed to rescue Aerobic and Queen and sent them to a clinic. The wounds of Aerobic were treated and he returned to his original site after consultation. SPP2374-Queen, however, had severe anemia and a blood transfusion was needed. She tested positive for Ehrlichia, Babesia Canis and Anaplasma. One of our dogs, 1607-Eerika, was brought to the clinic for blood donation. Anima-June New SPP Dog (SPP2376-Sai B)!

<30-06-2021> SPP2376-Sai B (F), around one year old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 30th June 2021. She was under Ms. Chan’s responsibility since 26th June 2021, in the construction site at Povoação de Lai Chi Vun. Anima helped with food and sterilization surgery to prevent pregnancy.
