Anima – August Rescue (C1021-Jeannette)!

C1021-Jeannette was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wan referring that she found a kitten, around 3.5 months old, injured in Rotunda Tenente Pedro José da Silva Loureiro. Her right hind leg was found injured. Her tail was cut as she had a fracture and her feet was sutured! She was in very bad shape! Thanks Ms. Wan! Never abandon your pet! Anima – August Adoption (1489-Autumn)!

Four puppies, 1487-Spring, 1488-Summer, 1489-Autumn and 1490-Winter were found abandoned in the middle of the road between the water company and Anima on July 7, 2015 at around 8:55am. 1489-Autumn had a wound on her neck and all of them had skin problems. Now Autumn was adopted by Alan! Thanks Alan! Never abandon your pet! Anima – August: Esprit has visited us!

Today 15 people visited us, nine were from Esprit! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of June, we had 2,972 visitors an increase of 6.3% as compared with 2,796 in the same period of 2014! 32 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! Anima – August Return (SPP1308-Ford)

Ford and Honoria and were accepted as SPP under the numbers SPP1308 and 1309, on September 22, 2014. Ford was later rescued by Anima for treatment and was now returned back to his place. The animals under the Special Protection Program are only those living outside Anima in streets or sites. What Anima can provide? Food, medication and the necessary welfare, within our financial capabilities. Who can be under this program? Animals that are daily followed-up by volunteers. A picture, name, gender and the place where he/she is living, is a condition for getting such status. Those volunteers have to be registered in Anima as so. Be a SPP volunteer! Please be active! 561-Brownie was adopted on 20 December 2013 and later on 12 June 2014. He has escaped few times from home. Now he was found by Fatima around City Plaza. Anima – August Rescue (1511-Destiny)!

1511-Destiny was rescued by Anima. Destiny was feed by our staff for so many days outside Anima. Every day Destiny crosses the areas around Anima and come to us just for food or for “looking at us and begging for accommodation”. After so many days getting food from us near our vans we accepted her as our dog. She was crossing every day a very danger road just to reach us. She is now in pen 25, a pen supposed to be a temporary pen for accommodation! She had a red collar! Lost or just Abandoned? Never abandon your pet! August Rescue (1508-Carmela, 1509-Cletus, 1510-Caius)!

1508-Carmela, 1509-Cletus and 1510-Caius were rescued by Anima from IACM. They are the puppies of SPP1499-Christi and they were caught by IACM last week. As the Coloane Kennel was completely full we decided to give a chance to them adopting, even without knowing where to put them! No animal can go out of the Macau kennel without a proper adoption, unless we have space in Coloane Kennel. Just like happens in Anima. No animal goes out without a proper adoption! So we had to adopt them before taking them out! Never abandon your pet! Anima – August Adoption (1491-Billy)

Please see Billy when rescued and now at his new home! 1491-Billy (“Summer Rain”), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 8th July 2015, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that Billy was under the bridge of Fisherman’s Wharf. We were informed that before there were five puppies on that place! Billy was alone when we rescued him! Ms. Hoi was afraid that the typhoon that was approaching Macau on that time will kill him. Now he was adopted by Gina! Better adoption, we are sure, is  almost impossible! Thanks Gina! Anima – August Rescue (1342-Bill)!

1342-Bill was adopted in 2014 and was the centre of a family problem, a family with real serious problems that seem difficult to handle. By our code of conduct we never disclose the detailed information of any case. By request of the Authorities we decided to take him out of that environment. For his own and family sake, helping the family, the authorities and the pet! This time all family members accepted that the animal will stay better with us!
