Anima – July Rescue (1502-Saskia)!

1502-Saskia was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she has not a fracture but a hernia. She will stay with us forever unless adopted as she is not in condition to be released! Please help us! Without adoptions we can not survive! Never abandon your pets! C1008-Abbi with C1009-Aliza were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Gina referring that Ms. Liss found two kittens in a site near Rua Nova à Guia. They were one week old. Anima – July Rescue and Return(C485-Ohara)!

This is clearly a case of cruelty! Ohara how she was and how she is now! Someone adopted Ohara on 25 April 2015 and without notice to us just abandoned her. The adopter tells that she was lost, but didn't care to inform us! Do you believe that? We should like to post the face of the adopter and her boyfriend but our policy do not allows us to do that. It is a young couple that should be ashamed. Anima rescued today Ohara after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a skinny cat was found in a carton box at Istmo Ferreira do Amaral (Near Escola Choi Nong Chi Tai). Our cats’ supervisor identified immediately C485-Ohara when she arrived. Anima – July Adoption of C929-Lesley!

C929-Lesley was rescued by Anima on 24 April 2015, with the mother C926-Ladonna and five siblings (C927-Lea, C928-Lettie, C930-Lucian, C931-Loki and C932-Levi) after a call from Michele reporting that a cat gave birth to six kittens somewhere in Taipa. Anima – July Sad News (1501-Julissa)!

1501-Julissa was rescued by Anima two days ago, after a call from Mr. Albano referring that Julissa was between the road down to Grand Coloane and the water channel around the road. She could easily be killed by any car. She was moved by Mr. Albano to the bush around until Anima come to rescue. She was skinny, wounded, with most of the wounds full of maggots. A lot of ticks were found throughout the body. She was so weak that hardly could move and had hypothermia (BT: 35.6 C). She was sent to a clinic for a blood and tick fever tests. However, she didn’t survive! R.I.P. poor puppy! Please help us to find colonies of animals for neutering or spaying them! Never abandon your pets! C1008-Abbi and C1009-Aliza were rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Gina referring that Ms. Liss found two kittens in a site near Rua Nova à Guia. They are one week old. Anima – Please help us to help our greyhounds!

Our on-line petition to the Macau Chief Executive reached today at 10:13 am the amount of 235,961 supporters! We have launched the petition on April and we have stopped collecting signatures after around one month as the majority of people prefers to do it on-line. In less that one month only going out for few days we have collected in Macau around 2,000 supporters! We decided to concentrate collecting supporters on-line and we have sent emails to all the 165 international animal welfare organizations that support our fight for the end of that business made with the blood of our greyhounds! 65 of these organizations are from Mainland China! On 23rd of July, Anima holds an International Roundtable on Greyhounds in Macau inviting 10 International Organizations, two from Mainland China, three from Hong Kong and one from Taiwan. Anima – SPP dogs Returned after Neutering!

SPP1424-Riordan, SPP1425-Rosine and SPP1426-Roxana are dogs under our Special Protection Program from February 28, 2015. They were taken to Anima on July 11, 2015 for neutering. They were returned today. If we could, we keep them. But we have no space for those who really are in danger! Mr. Ah Fung is responsible for them. Please help us to help them! If you know animals in sites and you or someone are able to daily control them, please register them in Anima under our Special Protection Program (SPP). We will neuter them and release afterwards! Anima – July Adoption (C970-Chanmi)

C970-Chanmi was rescued by Anima on June 17, 2015 after a call from Mr. Chan referring that he has found a kitten under a car near Rua de Domingos Belchior Carneiro.
