Anima–May Rescue (C1561-Dorothy)!

<28-05-2017> C1544-Dallas (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 24th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Leong, informing that she has been hearing a kitten crying for a couple of days above her apartment in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai and no sign of the mother cat. She asked for help. We went to check and contacted the fire department for help. C1544-Dallas was rescued but was still missing two kittens. C1561-Dorothy (F) was rescued today, 28 May 2017 and we are still looking for the other! Dorothy was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She is staying in C22 in our Cats’ Paradise in quarantine. Anima-They Need a New Home!

<28-05-2017> Please help them to find an adopter as soon as possible! Anima has received a call from Ms. Hoi informing that her cat gave birth to six kittens, Apple (F), Cherry (F), Olive (F), Mango (M), Coconut (M) and Date (M) in April 2017. All of them are around 1.5 months old and are mixed Scottish Fold breed. She asked us to help as she can't keep so many cats. Her female cat was de-sexed already. According to Mr. Cardinal, he found her near Casa Garden (near Camões Garden) on 25th May 2017, around 17:30,  and she is now with him but  his dog is nor friendly with her. Anima–May Adoption (SPPC1546-Jessa)!

<27-05-2017> Jessa was adopted by Mr. João on 27th May 2017! SPPC1474-Janice (F), was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 31st March 2017, with an estimated age of two years old. She was pregnant. After she went back to her site, had the kittens and on 25th May 2017 she was back to Anima for general check up and vaccination. Her two kittens, SPPC1545-Jina and SPPC1546-Jessa were also brought in for vaccination and de-worming. Next vaccination due date will be 8th June. They had been under quarantine in Michele’s home and were all delivered to Cat Paradise for adoption on 25th May 2017. Jessa was now adopted. Thanks João! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–May Sad News (C1533-Galina)!

<26-05-2017> C1533-Galina (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 13th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar from Anihelp, informing that he has rescued C1533-Galina near Iao Hon Market in the morning and has delivered her to a clinic for consultation as she was very weak. C1533-Galina was dehydrated and with low temperature, and was hospitalized in the clinic the night before for IV Dripping and observation. C1533-Galina was collected by Anima and was staying in V6 continuing with the treatment. Unfortunately she entered in suffer and nobody could help her. By our Code of Ethics, after a favorable vet opinion, two board members of Anima approved to put her sleeping, the last one the President. She was euthanized on 26th May 2017! R.I.P. my friend! <26-05-2017> The mother, SPPC1555-Juna, around two years old, with her kittens, SPPC1556-Jess, SPPC1557-Jet and SPPC1558-Joss, all around two months old, were rescued by Anima on the 26th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa and they are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). Anima–May Rescue (SPPC1416-Barry)!

<26-05-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was under our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He was fostered temporarily by Michele as he needed medication. He was recued again on 4th April 2017 as he was found with a swollen eye, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration. He came back on 26th May 2017 as is not willing to move and the spirit was not good.
