Anima visited by Wynn Resort staff!

Today 25 people visited us, 18 were Wynn Resort staff! Steve Wynn is Anima Honorary Life President! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of May, we had 2,691 visitors an increase of 10.88% as compared with 2,427 in the same period of 2014! 26 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us! Anima – June Rescue (C970-Chanmi)

C970-Chanmi was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Chan referring that he found a kitten under a car near Rua de Domingos Belchior Carneiro. As he was not able to catch her since yesterday he asked our help. The kitten went inside the engine and only with the support of the police and fire department we were able to rescue her. Thanks Mr. Chan, Police and Fire Department! Never abandon your pets! Anima – June Rescue (SPPC971-Tommy and SPPC972-Joe)

SPPC971-Tommy, SPPC972-Joe were rescued by Michele and came to Anima for consultation taking the proper vaccines and were de-worming. Joe stays in Anima as he is skinny and weak. Anima- Information about animals in temporary accomodation (1465-Luna and 1466-Jorjão)

1465-Luna and 1466-Jorjão that were exceptionally accommodated in Anima temporarily, as the owners Mr. Varley and Marisa went back home unexpectedly by professional reasons, are very well with us. They are just waiting for the 90 days imposed by European authorities to take a plane! Today one of our members spoke to them in the language they understand, the Portuguese language, and they were so happy and never left him. Please do like Varley and Marisa, Never abandon your pets! Albano Martins Adopt In Coloane Kennel, News

Anima – IACM animals for adoption in Coloane Kennel!

SPP710-Pak Sa, SPP711-Kam Sa, SPP719-Ah Gym, SPP721-Ah Hong, SPP722-Tai Pou, SPP723-Yi Pou,  SPP724-Sam Pou and SPP725-Sai Pou, were rescued by Anima and sent to Coloane kennel for adoption. All of them are under Anima staff management. The main reason of this decision was to improve their quality of life and avoid them to be sooner or later killed as the community around the site was complaining about their bark. In the area Anima is helping around 60 animals and has now two staff fully working there. All food and medication are also fully covered by Ludwig’s fund created by Anima on April this year! We believe that the site will be fully closed for construction within one to 1.5 years. So the future of those animals are really a challenge for us all our friends that want to help stray animals. C968-Daysha was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Koo and Ms. Lee. They were afraid the cats will be poisoned. It is the third cat rescued in the area. Anima – Membership Cards

All members that have not yet collected the membership cards should collect them in Anima headquarters in Coloane (our shelter) at the first floor (Association area) one week after fill in the application as Anima member. Please contact Zoe (66018939 or 28703224) to collect it or Shirley (28323396) to be sure that your card is already in Anima. However if you are not able to collect it in Coloane, please call us in advance and we will deliver it to Macau headquarters at Si Toi Building 14th floor, Apart F/G) This is our second post this year. The first one was on March 21, 2015. We will not call anybody as we have around 600 members! Please understand! Emails have been sent to Anima members for the same purpose and for keeping the membership fees update few months ago! Thanks for helping us helping them! Anima- New dogs under Special Protection Program (SPP)

Today a group of eight dogs, a mother and seven puppies, were included in our Special Protection Program. We will do the best we can for them, except guarantee to take them inside, as we are full. SPP1471-Oona (the mother of 7 puppies), SPP1472-Orla, SPP1473-Oriana, SPP1474-Oprah, SPP1475-Olga, SPP1476-Orson, SPP1477-Omar and SPP1478-Olly are the new animals under our protection. Please help us to help them! If you know of animals in sites and you or someone are able to daily control them, please register them in Anima under our Special Protection Program (SPP).
