Anima – May Rescue (C954-Cato and C955-Cayla)

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. C953-Wesley was rescued after a call from Ms. Mok reporting that Wesley was found in Patio Da Quina and was bleeding a lot. Wesley was sent immediately to a clinic. C952-Benzel was rescued after a call from Mr. Ieong reporting that three kittens with their mother were found in his place at Estrada do Cemiterio (Santo António and São Lázaro" Social Service Centre). Anima – May Sad News (121-Bone)

121-Bone, also known as Kuat Kuat, was euthanized today as she was in suffer. In the beginning of May she had a teeth surgery and was found on that time a mandible tumor. 121-Bone was euthanized after a favorable opinion of a vet and two board members approval. She was found collapsed this morning, having convulsion and incontinence. She didn’t eat much since last week! Bone was estimate to be around 10 years and five months old and was one of our first rescued animals still with us. Anima – May Rescue (SPP1467-Brandon)

Brandon, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Wu reporting that there is a dog (now SPP1467-Brandon) hit by a car few days ago in a gasoline station. The staff gives food to him and he stayed there since one week ago. As they can not afford to pay the vet bill Anima is helping. He was sent to a clinic for surgery and the cost will be around 10,000 patacas, fully paid by Anima. He will stay confined in Anima for a period of 10 days after surgery. Anima – May Sad News (C901-Boey)

C901-Boey was rescued by Anima on February 26, 2015 after a call reporting that a cat was found injured in Rua De S. Miguel. It is the same place where we found on January 21, 2015, C881-Agustin and C882-Aidan. Aidan as all of you remember was found hanged with the brother near him “protecting” his body and “asking” why people should be so cruel! Boey seemed the mother of them. Injuries were found across the body. She was sick. Today we have to put her sleeping after a favorable opinion of a vet and the approval of two board members.
