C941-Jaida, around two years old, was rescued after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that a cat was found injured in Rua Cinco de Outubro. She stayed overnight in a clinic as she had an infection. Anima – Students from Cheng Yu Tung College of University of Macau visited us!

Today 55 people visited us, 25 students from Cheng Yu Tung College of University of Macau. More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2014, up to the end of February, we have 1,107 visitors an increase of 39.4% as compared with 937 in the same period of 201, when the visitors increased 18%! Anima – April Rescue (C932-Karla, C933-Keaton, C934-Kathy, C935-Katerina and C936-Kya)

C932-Karla, C933-Keaton, C934-Kathy, C935-Katerina and C936-Kya were rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that 5 kittens were found somewhere in Taipa. C932-Karla, C933-Keaton, C934-Kathy and C935-Katerina are 6 weeks old. C936-Kya is one week old and still needs milk, so she will be taking care temporarily by our Treasurer, Connie. Anima – April Temporary Accommodation (792-Nimi)

792-Nimi will stay with us for a while as the family has to go out of Macau. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, the fee is 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Non members or non adopters may exceptionally apply for this facility paying double, if we have space. In Anima the animals will be not caged! Caging animals is insane and cruel! Only for treatment we may accept this, but only if we have no space and no more than ten days with daily play times! Priority is always given to members and adopters!  Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed...

Anima – April Rescue (C926-Ladonna, C927-Lea, C928-Lettie, C929-Lesley, C930-Lucian and C931-Loki)

C926-Ladonna (the mother) with five kittens (C927-Lea, C928-Lettie, C929-Lesley, C930-Lucian, C931-Loki) were rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that a cat gave birth to 5 kittens somewhere in Taipa. Michele, one of our volunteers for cats, rescued this kitten, male and around 6 weeks old and she is now looking for a family for him.
