Anima–May Rescue (B068-Skate)!

<07-05-2017> B068-Skate, was rescued by Anima on 7th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chio, reporting that there was one baby bird, B068-Skate, near A-Ma Cultural Village, and he was unable to fly. The siblings, B066-Skittles and B067-Sunny, were rescued yesterday. B068-Skate was sent to a clinic for consultation and stayed hospitalized free of charge. Thanks Mr. Chio and Royal Clinic! Anima–May Rescue (1877-Gerry)!

<07-05-2017> 1877-Gerry (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on the 7th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Cheong reporting that a poodle, 1877-Gerry, was found in the tunnel of Portas do Cerco at around 3 a.m. this morning and he was unable to move. He has no microchip. 1877-Gerry was sent to a clinic for consultation. An X-Ray showed the left hind leg was fractured. Surgery will be performed tonight. He is hospitalized in the clinic. Anima – Our Lady of Fatima Girls’ School visited us!

<06-05-2017> Today, 53 people visited us, four were from Our Lady of Fatima Girls’ School that came to our Cat’s Paradise for work! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to April 2017, Anima received 3,578 visitors, an increase of 37.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 45 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in 14 events organized by friends or by us! Anima–May Adoption (C1444 and C1445)!

<06-05-2017> C1444-Currant and C-1445-Tangor were adopted by Ms Ung!. C1400-Korsak (M), with an estimated age of five months old, together with C1401-Kitman (F), with an estimated age of two years old, were rescued by Anima on 25th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away and left some cats and no one was taking care of them. There was a hole in the door of the flat and the cats could come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap to catch them. C1386-Tebbie was caught on 18th January and C1399-Scottie was caught on 23rd January. They were checked by our vet and de-wormed, but Kitman was pregnant already. C1441-Advocado, C1442-Kiwi, C1443-Watermelon, C1444-Currant and C1445-Tangor were born on 6 March 2017 by C1401-Kitman. C1441-Advocado deceased when being born. Anima – May Rescue and Return (SPP1407-B Zhai)!

<06-05-2017> SPP1407-B Zhai (M), three years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, and he lives in a site somewhere in Taipa. On 16th September 2016, B Zhai came to Anima as he got hurt on his back by hot water two weeks before. B Zhai was brought to Anima for treatment immediately. After treatment he was released on 16th October 2016. Now, B Zhai was rescued again after a call from Ms. Gina informing that B Zhai was limping. We was brought to Anima and was ok, only minor skin problems were found on his back. He returned to his place after medicated. Thanks Ms. Gina! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–May Rescue (C1518-Linda)!

<06-05-2017> C1518-Linda (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on the 5th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, that they received a message on Facebook, reporting that an injured cat, C1518, was found in Rua de João de Araújo. He asked us to help. C1518-Linda was sent to a clinic for consultation as she had an eye infected and will stay there overnight for observation. Thanks Mr. Oscar and Anihelp! Anima- May Rescue and Return (SPP1299, SPP1876)!

<05/05/2017> SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 6th September 2014, after a call from Ms. Peng. On 5th February 2005, Xiao Xiao was spayed to avoid more pregnancies. Now, SPP1299-Xiao Xiao, was rescued by Anima on 5th May 2017, together with SPP1876-Blacky, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), after a call from Peng, reporting that they were not eating in the last two days. They were brought to Anima for consultation, did a blood test and the result showed that they have tick fever. Medication was prescribed and SPP1299-Xiao Xiao and SPP1876-Blacky were returned to their place and Ms. Peng will be responsible for giving the medication everyday. Thanks Ms. Peng! Anima – May Adoption (1797-Golden)!

<05-05-2017> Golden was adopted by Mr Michael on 5th May 2017! 1797-Golden (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2016, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Vidigal, reporting that a dog was found with a collar in a trail near Macau International Airport. No microchip was found on him. Golden stayed with us from that time on, was later fostered just for one day, and now he is adopted by Mr. Michael! Thanks Mr. Michael! Please Adopt and never Buy!
