Anima-March Temporary Accommodation (1865-Garlic)!

<16-03-2017> 1865-Garlic (F), with around five years old, was adopted by Edith Lam in IACM and is now with us in temporary accommodation! Garlic is a greyhound that was sent by Canidrome to the Macau Kennel for adoption as requested by the Authorities. Anima hopes that all greyhounds in that compound can be free instead of being killed before the concession expires at the end of 2018! We have several times asked the Macau Government to help us pressing the Canidrome to give all greyhounds to us and authorizing us to use for one year the Canidrome installations for us to be able to re-home all of them. Anima has now around 250 international adopters for greyhounds and does not have more adopters as we have not received yet any green light from either the Macau Government or the Canidrome to go ahead with our plan of saving all greyhounds! Anima – March Adoption (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<16-03-2016> SPPC1254-Carrick was adopted on 16th March 2017 by Simon and Claire Penn. SPPC1254-Carrick (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa, when he was around two months old. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he has a ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was previoulsy adopted on 18th September and later returned. Now he was again adopted! Thanks Simon and Claire Penn! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–March Rescue (C1458-Sake)!

<16-03-2017> C1458-Sake (F), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 16th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina, our board member, informing that C1458-Sake was limping somewhere in Macau. C1458-Sake was caught as she entered in our cat trap! C1458-Sake was checked by our vet, de-wormed and then delivered to Anima Cats’ Paradise for quarantine. Thanks Ms. Gina! Anima – Tak Chun Charity Association visited us!

<16-03-2017> Today, 46 people visited us, 24 were from Tak Chun Charity Association that visited our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to February 2017, Anima received 1,714 visitors, an increase of 25.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 16 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in two events organized by friends or by us! Anima–March Rescue (C1457-Meko)!

<14-03-2017> C1457-Meko (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Ieong informing that she saw C1457-Meko being hit by a car near Red Market and asked us for help. Both hind legs of C1457-Meko could not walk. C1457-Meko was checked by our vet. Her thoracic vertebra was broken, making her lower part of the body paralyzed. <14-03-2017> C1456-Misty (F), with an estimated age of nine months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Bing informing that she has 16 cats but she is not able to keep them anymore as she is sick and needs to have a surgery. We promised to get one cat now as we have no space to quarantine all 16 cats if they come at the same time. C1456-Misty was brought by Ms. Bing’s son to Cats’ Paradise today. Anima–March Adoption (C1404-Tigger)!

<12-03-2017> C1404-Tigger was adopted by Ms. Mok on 12th March 2017! C1403-Penguin (M) and C1404-Tigger (F), both with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 26th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Ao reporting that she found two kittens near Mercado de S. Lourenço on 24th January. Penguin and Tigger were sent to a clinic by Ms. Ao for general check-up. They stayed in the clinic for cleaning up as they had a flea infection and ear mites. They were staying in quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise and now Tigger was adopted. Ms. Mok is also the adopter of C1403-Penguin, and will pick up C1403-Penguin later as C1403-Penguin still has an eye discharge and sneezes sometimes. Thanks Ms. Mok! Please Adopt and never Buy! <12-03-2017> Today, 90 people visited us, 25 were from Sheng Kung Family Service Center that visited our two shelters! Thanks for your strong support!
