Anima – April Rescue (SPP1710-Mui Chui II)!

SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. Mui Chui II is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). An ultrasound showed that the fetus are already approx. seven weeks old. So we decided for keeping the puppies! SPP1710-Mui Chui II has to stay in Anima temporarily to give birth. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – April Adoption (C1122-Crackie)!

C1122-Crackie was adopted on 23rd April 2016, by Ms. Ao! C1122-Crackie, around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th February 2016, after a call from Ms. Vanessa reporting that a female cat was found shaking, with a big belly and skin problems in a street somewhere in Macau. Our rescue team went to the site and found the female cat and two other kittens in a car park nearby. According to an employee of the car park, the cats have been living inside the car park together since a week ago. He asked us to collect the cats. We set a cat trap and one of the kittens C1122-Crackie was rescued. Thanks Ms. Ao! Anima – April Rescue (C1175-Valentina)!

C1175-Valentina (F), around eight years old, was rescued on 22nd April 2016, after a call from Mr. Fernando around 9:30 pm, reporting that she was found in Estrada do Coelho do Amaral and she was extremely dehydrated, full of fleas and very weak. Mr. Fernando took her to a clinic immediately. C1175-Valentina needs to stay overnight in the clinic for observation and after will go our shelter! Thanks Mr. Fernando! Please help us to help them! C1174-Bella (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2016, after a call from Mr. Andrii, informing that he can’t take care of C1174-Bella anymore as he will go back Europe very soon. Anima – April Return to Anima (1607 and 1608)!

1607-Eerika (F) and 1608-Eemeli (M), both already de-sexed, were rescued by Anima on 20th December 2015, after a call from Mr. Hoi reporting that a pair of German Weimaraner dogs, were living in his construction site at Estrada de Hac. According to Mr. Hoi, 1608-Eemeli was limping since few months old due to an accident. He need to  pay very high attention to them in that area as they were always going to the road. They were abandoned by someone when they were three months old. According to Mr. Hoi, the original owner bought them in Germany for the equivalent of around HKD 25,000 each. Later, Anima decided to send them together to the Coloane Kennel, to be under our staff supervision, in order to allow us to save other animals, as we were short of space. Anima – April Adoption (1706-Parco)!

1706-Parco was adopted today by our member Ms. Lei! 1706-Parco (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Man, informing that 1707-Parco was found tied near a garbage room on Rua de Sacadura Cabral. She has stayed there for over half an hour but nobody appeared to get 1707-Parco. Our rescue team went to the location, no microchip was found on 1707-Parco, and he was skinny. According to the people nearby, they often see two young girls walking 1707-Parco. We have to choose between several adoptions' applications and we choose what seems the best for him. Anima – April Rescue (C1173-Cheddar)!

C1173-Cheddar (F), around 10 months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wai informing that C1173-Cheddar fell down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found C1173-Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, has fever and gum problems. Anima – April Sad News (C1156-Shane)!

C1156-Shane (F) was rescued on 10th April 2016 and died today! C1156-Shane was rescued by Anima after a facebook message from Ms. Ng. According to Ms. Ng, she used to feed C1156-Shane in Patane but C1156-Shane had disappeared for a long period of time. When she showed up again, she was dehydrated and very weak. Ms. Ng sent C1156-Shane to a clinic for treatment and intended to return her to former place after recovery and de-sex surgery. But the doctor said it would take a month for C1156-Shane to fully recover. It was beyond Ms. Ng’s budget expectation and she could not afford the hospitalization fee. We picked up C1156-Shane and transferred her to another clinic for observation. She was under IV Dripping. Unfortunately was too late to save her. She died today! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – April Rescue (1707-Moppy)!

1707-Moppy (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, informing that 1707-Moppy was found near Jockey Club and seems hurt. 1707-Moppy seems not moving well and was soaked under the rain. 1707-Moppy was collected by Anima and no microchip was found. Unfortunately her tail was out of the big cage we have for animals in quarantine (we have no other way to keep them temporarily, even if they have play times during the day) and she was beaten by other dogs and had to go to a clinic for surgery. Many people ask us to help, we are happy to do the best for the animals but we have no safe spaces for them! Anima – April Rescue (B024-Piggo)!

B024-Piggo (F), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 19th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Melisia, informing that she found a Zebra Dove in front of School of Nations unable to move or fly. Our rescue team went there and collected B024-Piggo. As B024-Piggo is still young, she can only walk a little and does not know how to fly and feed alone. It will be difficult to survive on that age!
