Anima – April Rescue (C1165-Cowie)!

C1165-Cowie (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that there was a cat always coming from the terrace of the building where she lives. We lent a container to Mr. Chui living on 5th floor and used to feed the cats in terrace. Mr. Chui caught it and the cat, C1165-Cowie, is now in Anima. C1165-Cowie was checked and de-wormed. Anima – April Rescue (C1164-Kaspar)!

C1164-Kaspar (M), around 20 days old, was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a kitten, C1164-Kaspar was found in Rua dos Colonos and he is very weak. C1164-Kaspar was checked and dewormed. He has Upper Respiratory Infection and Conjunctivitis. C1164-Kaspar will take care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he still needs milk feeding. Anima – April Sad News (SPP1424-Riorda)!

SPP1424-Riordan and SPP1425-Rosine were dogs under our Special Protection Program from February 28, 2015. They came to Anima for neutering on 11th July 2015. They lived in a construction site and Mr. Ah Fung was the responsible for them. Riordan was caught by a truck and died today! Please help us to help them! If you have a window of opportunity to foster or adopt any of our dogs we have an opportunity to collect others that are always subject to risk outside Anima! As we do not kill, it is impossible for us to rescue all dogs outside! Do not complain only! Anima – April Sad News (C1155-Afia)!

C1155-Afia was rescued on 9th April 2016 and died today, 14th April 2016! Afia is the sibling of C1154-Akoni (M) that was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2016, after a call from Ms. Leonor yesterday, reporting that there was a cat mother with two kittens (around 1.5 months old) somewhere near a restaurant in Coloane. According to Ms. Leonor, there were four kittens before but the mother always hide the kittens under the raining water channels. Two kittens were drowned and died on Monday after the heavy rain and Ms. Leonor was worried about the rest of them. C1154-Akoni was being taken care by our cats’ supervisor Ms. Ah Peng temporarily as he needs milk feeding. We set up the trap again to catch the other siblings and the mother, under the support of the staff from the restaurant! Afia died today! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! ANIMA-Albergue SCM helps Anima!

Albergue SCM opened to the public its “Wishing Well” on 5th February 2016, and the coins thrown inside were promised to Anima. Two donation boxes were also there, one near the wishing well and another inside the art gallery! We collected the donation box near the wishing well with a total amount of MOP 13,171.90! A cheque of Mop 4,000.00 was also donated to Anima! Thank you Arq. Anima – April Rescue (SPP1647-Laggon)!

SPP1647-Laggon (M), together with SPP1646-Lambo (M), SPP1648-Languid (M), SPP1649-Lafone (F) and SPP1650-Limona (F), around one month old, and the mother, SPP1651-Linna, around two years old, were under our Special Protection Program from the 4th of February 2016. They live in a construction site somewhere in Coloane, and Mrs. Yuen was responsible for them in that area. Laggon was caught by a car and lost one leg! Even full he has to stay with us from now on!
