Anima – April Information about 1695-Wawa!

See Wawa now after a bath and when we rescued! Please Adopt her! 1695-Wawa (F) was rescued by Anima on the 1st of April 2016, after a call from Mr. Chiu reporting that 1695-Wawa was found in his working place somewhere in Coloane, that morning. According to Mr. Chiu, it is rare to see a small size dog in that area as most of the dogs living there are medium or large size, so she was probably abandoned. No microchip was found in Wawa. If you have capacity to adopt, please help us! Never abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima – Dog under SPP returned (SPP1643-Toner)!

SPP1643-Toner was rescued by Anima on 27th February 2016, after our rescue team found him with an eye infection. Toner became our SPP dog since 27th January 2016 and he lives somewhere in Coloane under our responsibility. Toner was sent to a clinic for a consultation and he was diagnosed with tick fever. He finished the medication on 27th March and recovered from tick fever. He was castrated on 31st March and received the 1st vaccination. SPP1643-Toner returned to his place today living now again with his mother SPP1619-Hilder. Our rescue team is responsible for him in the area. Please help us to help them! Anima – April Rescue (SPPC1152-Buffy)!

SPPC1152-Buffy, around three years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele and is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). SPPC1152-Buffy lives somewhere in Taipa and Michele is responsible for him in the area. She found him very weak and both eyes could barely open yesterday. She caught him this morning and brought to Anima. He also has yellowish discharge and he is anemic, skinny and probably with fat liver. Heart and lungs were clear. Severely dehydrated and with hypothermia. He was not moving and refuses to eat. The prognosis is poor! He is now in V6 under IV dripping, under  close observation! Thanks Michele! Anima – April Adoption (C1142-Amigo)!

C1142-Amigo (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd March 2016, after Mr. Wu reporting that a kitten was wandering on Ponte de Amizade as he drove by. Mr. Wu picked up C1142-Amigo and immediately drove him to Anima. A minor scratch was found on his chin, but his overall health condition was fine. Now Amigo was adopted by Ms. Yip! Thanks Ms. Yip! Anima – April Rescue and Sad News (1697-Kobee)!

1697-Kobee was rescued by Anima after a call from a lady reporting that she  brought 1697-Kobee to Macau but Kobee had diarrhea with blood and the overall health condition was not good. She took 1697-Kobee to a clinic but could not afford the vet bill. She asked if we could help to pay the vet bill and collect 1697-Kobee. 1697-Kobee has run a Distemper test and Parvovirus test. Both results were positive! The dog died in the clinic during the treatment and his body was sent by Anima to Macau Kennel. The bill will be, exceptionally, paid by us. Please Pay Attention, you must always comply with Macau laws. We will not disclose the details of this case but we strongly ask you to respect our laws being prudent! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – April Rescue and Sad News(1698-Cuke)!

1698-Cuke was rescued already dead by Anima after a call from Mrs. Winnie reporting that the dead body of 1698-Cuke was found near One Oasis and Louis XIII. No superficial wounds were found on the body, might be he died of internal injuries or any disease. Our rescue team collected the body to Anima. Thanks Mrs. Winnie! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – New Temporary Foster (1199, 1337 and 1429)!

Please see them before, when we rescued them, and now being fostered by a friendly association! 1199-Dakota was rescued by Mr. Darrick on 3rd January 2014. He found her the day before in Yao Hon, attached to a leash near the seaside. The dog was skinny and it seems she was left there a few days ago. 1337-Hayden was rescue in Coloane by Anima after a call from Ms. Chow. He was not able to walk and he was shaking. He has a serious skin problem and see now as he had recovered. 1429-Eda was rescued by Anima under an agreement signed with a local restaurant in Coloane. Eda is gentle, has a collar but not a microchip. All three are now with a foster association as we want to improve the quality of life of them and we were breaking our rules, taking their space, as we are full! As soon as...

Anima – April Temporary Accommodation (1696-Woody II)!

1696-Woody II was exceptionally accommodated in Anima (A7) temporarily for 138 days as the owner Mr. Nuno Ferreira had go unexpectedly back Portugal. 1696-Woody II will stay with us until all the process of transfer to Portugal is finished. This is a job we do freely to our members as otherwise we may have some more abandonments. People interested in this facility must pay in advance all the estimated costs that Anima will incur with that transfer! Please, if you want to leave Macau and take your pet you must prepare everything with at least four months in advance, for safety! 1697-Woody II was registered in Macau kennel today.
