Anima – March Sad News (SPPC1127-Galina)!

SPPC1127-Galina, around eight years old, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 19th February 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that SPPC1127-Galina was found sick somewhere in Taipa and she refused to eat for few days. We did our best but in the last days everything got complicated (renal failure, bacterial Infection, she was very weak, depressed, staying in the same position, with hypothermia and severely dehydrated). She was already in suffer! We decided to put her sleeping! R.I.P. my friend! If you have capacity to adopt, please help us! Never abandon your pet! Anima – Information about SPP1666-Tika!

TiKa has recovered after the surgery! Please Adopt him! SPP1666-Tika was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2016 after a call from Ms. Joan reporting that Tika was found breathing hard and vomiting. SPP1662-Tanmi, around three years old, with her six puppies, SPP1663-Therese, SPP1664-Tenny, SPP1665-Talina, SPP1666-Tika, SPP1667-Terro and SPP1668-Trafo, all around three months old, are under our Special Protection Program since 10th March 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan and Ms. Joan reporting that the dogs live in a construction site somewhere in Taipa. Mr. Chan and Ms. Joan are responsible for all of them in that area. SPP1666-Tika was sent to three clinics immediately for consultation. The first vet opinion stated that he needed a surgery but they could only run the surgery six days later and Tika would have possibilities to survive. Anima – March Sad News (C1116-Eyre)!

C1113-Byron (M), C1114- Shelley (F), C1115-Keats (M) and C1116-Eyre (F) were rescued by Anima on 31st January 2016 after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that four kittens were found in a plastic bag in a building at Rua da Alegria. Mr. Lau put them in a carton box temporarily as our rescue team went to Red Market to rescue them immediately. C1116-Eyre was sent to a clinic on 19th March 2016 due to the worsening cat flu and refusing to eat. She had been on IV dripping in the clinic but she still refused to eat, weak and apathy. There was also blood in her nasal discharge. We were informed by the clinic that C1116-Eyre passed away due to natural cause last night. Her body was returned to Anima then delivered to IACM. Anima – March Rescue (C1142-Amigo)!

C1142-Amigo (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima after Mr. Wu reporting that a kitten was wandering on Ponte de Amizade as he drove by. Mr. Wu picked up C1142-Amigo and immediately drove him to Anima. A minor scratch was found on his chin, but his overall health condition was fine. Thanks Mr. Wu! Please help us to help them! Anima – TDM – Teledifusão De Macau Visited Us!

Today, six people visited us, three of them were from TDM - Teledifusao De Macau. They came to interview Anima regarding our job in Macau. Our Vice President, Mr. Billy Chan was interviewed. Thanks for trusting us! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to February 2016, Anima received 1,363 visitors, an increase of 24.1% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased also 42.9% to 10 groups! Anima – March New Born (1683-Landry)!

SPP1669-Loi Loi, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2016 after a call from a lady reporting that SPP1669-Loi Loi and SPP1670-Angel were two of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and both of them needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is a distressed situation that we do not advice anyone to deal with! SPP1669-Loi Loi was found pregnant and she had to stay in Anima temporarily to give birth. SPP1669-Loi Loi gave birth to six puppies, 1677-Layla (F), 1678-Leanna (F), 1679-Lavon (M), 1680-Lavar (M), 1681-Lawton (M), 1682-Lawson (M) on 20th March 2016. 1677-Layla was born with abnormality and she had cleft palate. Anima – March New SPP Dog (SPP1686 and SPP1687)!

SPP1686-Clino (M), around 2.5 months old, with the mother SPP1687-Clinat (F), around two years old, both are now under Anima’s Special Protection Program, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat live in a construction site somewhere in Macau. According to Mr. Lei, SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat were very skinny even though there was a man feeding the dogs very often, but they were too afraid to come out to eat the food. Mr. Lei asked if we could provide food for them, and he will keep them inside the guard kiosk. We delivered one bag of dog dry food and one bag of puppy dry food to Mr. Lei today. Thanks Mr. Lei!
