Anima – February Adoption (C1103-Karin)!

The mother, C1102-Kanta, and four kittens, C1103-Karin, C1104-Kasin, C1105-Karsen and C1106-Kapuni were rescued by Anima on 17th January 2016, after a call from Mrs. Yao reporting that Kanta and her kittens lived in a warehouse on Rua Cinco de Outubro. According to Mrs. Yao, the warehouse will be closed until March and she will have no access to give food to the cats as she always did. Kanta was around two years old, and the kittens were around two months old, three males and one female. Now C1103-Karin was adopted by Mr. Paul! Thanks Mr. Paul! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima – February Adoption (C1111-Hermis)!

C1111-Hermis was rescued by Anima on 24th January 2016, after a call from our president, Mr. Albano reporting that a kitten was found in the door of his condominium the night before, hungry and very cold! Anima – February Adoption (1626-Walmond)!

1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th February 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Those puppies had to go to Anima as the Pets Shop contacted by Ms. Ian could not feed them night time! As the puppies still needed milk, they were fostered by our supervisor Ms. Zoe that feed them every three hours! Now Walmond was adopted by Mr. Wong! Thanks Mr. Wong! Please Adopt and never buy! Anima – February Rescue (1652-Terris)!

THIS IS A SERIOUS ACT OF CRUELTY! HOW LONG HAVE WE TO SEE THOSE ACTS WITHOUT THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE BEING  PUNISHED? WHEN DO WE  HAVE A LAW FOR PROTECTING ANIMALS AGAINST THESE DEPLORABLE AND INFAMOUS ACTS OF CRUELTY? 1652-Terris, a two years old dog, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Fong reporting that 1652-Terris was found injured in front of Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional. When our rescue team arrived, 1652-Terris was lying on the street with the nose bleeding. According to a witness, Mr. Tang, he was on the motorcycle and saw five people beating the nose of a dog with a hammer and a stick. They were inside a Blue Toyota (the plate number will be reported by Anima to the Police) so Mr. Tang chased the car and yelled at them. Anima – February Rescue (C1118-Socky)!

C1118-Socky was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Peny reporting that C1118-Socky was found by a friend of her in a street inside a carton box and was taken care by her up to now. Socky is a female cat around six months old! She told us that she tried to find an adopter for C1118-Socky but nobody was interested. She also referred that as she was pregnant she could not keep Socky! Pregnancy has nothing to do with these matters! Animals at home do not create any hazardous to any pregnant people. On the contrary, they help the future mothers to have healthy babies! Vets and human doctors should teach people about the importance of having animals when a pregnancy occurs!
